==Overview==
The Minerva-II revises the previous Minerva design in light of practical testing of the class. At core the Minerva had elicited few complaints so only slight alterations were required.
==Capabilities==
Built for head on assaults, sweeping dropships and fighters aside before they can inconvenience a warfleet or invasion force, the Minerva still sports powerful PPC batteries used previously but shifts them out into the wing structures to make room for dedicated anti-missile systems in the nose (and a similar tail array). As a result the threat of capital missiles to the Minerva is now greatly reduced.
The turrets have also been cut back slightly, the MkII Hex-PPC mount now only sporting six weapons rather than the original seven. In practical this means relatively little as the weapons systems were typically overkill.

The first three Minerva-II were laid down in the second half of 3025 and have yet to be completed.
