so this puppy is entirely dependent on support ships to bring aboard it's repair parts, food supplies, water, etc?  (in other words aside from the small craft bay where is the cargo?)

the firepower can not be denied.  it is absolutly impressive.  I would hate to be assigned to crew though because of only being able to eat the granola bars in my foot locker and not being able to shower.

  The design is certainly dependent on supply ships but isn't completely without supplies. It has a year's worth of food and water plus 25,000 tons in spare parts, just not listed under the cargo bay section. And the tonnage spent in the crew and passengers section is for their quarters.

okay, so it was listed inproperly, I gotcha...

  The Heavy Metal Aero program lets you list food/water and spare parts separately from a bay section. I'd say in large amounts, at least some of it would be stored in a bay but if you're running kind of lean on supplies, they could probably be stored in numerous areas around the ship.
