Yes LAMs will be in SD - for the simple reason that they are still canon in Battletech and existed during the SL era= so there is no reason to change that.  Whether they will die out or not is still To be determined.

As for the Munin I'm not sure whether or not we will include it.  We already have the Shadow Hawk LAMs and the Mk1 Phoenix Hawk LAM so I don't really see a need for the Munin.  Also LAMs were hard to design so their should not be huge numbers of different designs.

Hi Everyone I just got the 3085 techreadout and I checked out the LAM'S.  It seems the Shadow Hawk LAM never got past the protype stage so they never made any production models. Oh the artwork by Stephen Huda is cool.

Yup, the description pretty much follows canon although I was surprised that the Shadow Hawk was the first LAM and at the whole bimodal thing. I remember from previous works that the Phoenix Hawk LAM competed with the Shadow Hawk LAM and it won SL approval scrapping the larger LAM.

As for the artwork it is different. Not saying it isn't good I'm just a big fan of the original drawings.

I remember from previous works that the Phoenix Hawk LAM competed with the Shadow Hawk LAM and it won SL approval scrapping the larger LAM.

Actually from TR3025 Allied Aerospace was working on both the Shadow Hawk and Phoenix Hawk LAMs. The Shadow Hawk proved to be a costly failure due to it's size and the company then focused it's efforts on the P Hawk.

I thought it was interesting- I understand the need for the "new" original armor to allow for drawings of the LAMs but I might of taken a different approach. Rather then Mark 1s & Mark 2s I would have gone Royal and non-royal....

Hail and Good Fortune Everyone I was going over the LAMS and when I was reading about the Wasp LAM. It mentioned in the Editors note under the Variant section that the image pictured here is that of a rare WSP-100b model custom modified for the SLDF's "Blackhearts" teams. So does that make it a Royal and what is the weapon's payload?????
