Pride Conventional Fighter

I was looking at Clan Conventional Fighter for an idea I have (which is linked to a post here) and I found out the Pride Conventional Fighter, which is a Meteor Heavy Strike Fighter.

I came out with 3 potential Clan designs and would like to have your comments on them (I don't link them to the sole Goliath Scorpions but to the Clans as a whole).

I would think the Clans' would regard conventional fighters as inferior craft unworthy of true warriors. InnerSphere bondsman, Test downs/Solahma, or Aerospace Seconds or even Thirds (pilots who failed their initial or second trial of position) could be possible I guess. Could Clan Police units field these, maybe??

it is the same with armored vehicles, it will depend on the Clan
but I like what I see fighter wise that is.

You didn't say it, I did. ;D

Upon further thought I suppose another use for this craft is as a training plane for young aerospace sibkos.

I'd personally with option three. It is an interceptor armed with mostly small ammo based weaponry meaning nothing outrageous. Supplies aren't really meaningful but can be withheld as well to maintain control of these hardly significant assets. It can possibly face off against bandits or smugglers unworthy enough for the true warriors to deal with or treacherous enough to avoid a fight.

These have a use when you assign a Provisional Garrison Cluster to a planet, now you don't have leave behind frontline fighters
