First up is the Vandal. The fastest Clan OmniFighter in existence (pretty much the fastest fighter PERIOD), it could have been done far more efficiently at 25 tons in mass. This would have freed up two tons, which I've put into fuel tankage (for a total of 5 tons). Still has the same 3 tons of pod-space and 4.5 tons of ferro-aluminum armor plating, but that extra fuel makes a HUGE difference on the game board. Sure, by dropping five tons we lost one hardpoint, but now we can pack on five bombs (or rocket pods, or fuel tanks, or whatever) and still streak over the battlefield at 13/20! Plus, the design is less expensive to produce and maintain . . . always a GOOD thing.
Configurations remain the same, except for the Prime. We don't need that extra ton of fuel so I upgraded the two ER Small Lasers to ER Mediums. Done and done.
