Dreadnought IIC

Designed by Clan Goliath Scorpion in the early days after the Wolf Dragoons launched boldly out to scout the InnerSphere, the Dreadnought IIC was to be the corner stone of the Scorpion Fleet replacing all of its Cruisers and Frigates for a total of 6 vessels.    A follow up of a new Destroyer design of a slightly larger Lola III (earmarked as the Lola IV), with a production run of twelve vessels never even got started beyond a few memos.     Finally a new troop cruiser based around the Dart would have rounded off the new Scorpion Fleet.

Instead SaKhan Alexandra Yeh who headed the design of the project and was the main advocate of updating and replacing the vast majority of the Scorpion fleet died a gory death in hand to hand combat during a Trial of Refusal on an entirely unrelated matter.   With her death the Dreadnought IIC and the revamping of the Scorpion Fleet withered on the vine to be forgotten about.

IMO not enough firepower for a ship this size as it approaches the  Million-ton mark.
