My vision of the Taurian Concordat differs ("slightly") from that of canon. According to Periphery 1, the Taurian Concordat was on the verge of reaching (or even surpassing!) the technology base of the Great Houses. We see this to some extent in canon where the Concordat manages to reverse engineer (without access to the Helm core) ferro-fibrous armor and Streak SRM-2s in the early 3030s!
By canon, we know that the Concordat had fifteen WarShips remaining in service in 2750 and expanded that to thirty-one by 2765! At least six of which were Concordat-class vessels!
Where did these WarShips go? The Concordat was not engaged in major military operations during the 1st Succession War . . . so how did they lose them?
Well, in my head canon, they lost a few and mothballed the rest to focus their attention on preserving Taurian worlds that could be saved.
Which (to me, at least) means that those ships should still be out there and just need to be restored to service. But since no one else had any WarShips left by the end of the 2nd War, I imagine that the Concordat didn't see the need to spend money to reactivate those vessels.
Now, one spanner in the loop is the white elephant (or albatross!) that is the TCS New Vandenberg. A Vincent-class Corvette which (in canon) it is said that the Concordat possesses but has been unable to restore to service.
But what if New Vandenberg is meant to serve as a decoy or distraction to avert hostile eyes from a fairly sizeable TCN fleet waiting to be restored to service?
Here is my take on what such a Fleet might well look like. Hope ya'll enjoy it.

Concordat II-class Light Frigate
The mainstay of the restored Taurian Concordat Navy is the Concordat II-class Light Frigate. Although more of a destroyer than a frigate, the inclusion of docking collars all but mandates its classification in the frigate category by the Great Houses and ComStar.
The design is based on the 440,000 ton Concordat-class of the Reunification War, but incorporates several advanced technologies acquired by the Taurian Concordat during the 3030s and 3040s. These include improved ferro-aluminum armor plating, double-strength heat sinks, Artemis IV fire-control systems, LB-X autocannon, and pulse lasers.
Basically the design is nothing more than the ancient Concordat, but the devil is in the details. The primary armament consists of fourteen NAC-20 Naval Autocannon arranged in seven two-gun bays (forward, forward-right/forward-left, right broadside/left broadside, and rear-right/rear-left arcs of fire). One NAC-20 was moved from the broadside of the canon Concordat to the right/left-rear arcs to homogenize the weapon arrays. The stern mounts two NAC-10 Naval Autocannon in a single bay, rather than the single NAC-20 of the older design. Each naval autocannon is provided with 25 bursts of fire.
The forward, forward-right/left, and stern arcs also mount a triple bay of Naval Lasers. But rather than the mixed NL-55 and NL-45 batteries of the original version, these are instead NL-35s. While the nose damage is lowered (as is maximum range (by a mere 10 hexes; it can still reach out to 40!)), the fore-quarters is increased . . . as is the stern which previously did not mount any Naval Lasers.
The standard weapons suite has also been altered. Each arc carries three LRM-15 long-range missile launchers with Artemis IV Fire-Control Systems (40 salvos each), six LB-10X Autocannon (40 bursts each), and six Medium Pulse Lasers. Damage has increased as has accuracy. Fighters will not enjoy engaging this Taurian capital ship! No, sir!
Only 888 heat sinks are mounted, but these are doubles . . . which can handle 100% of the total heat produced by this design!
Rather than 8 small craft, the Concordat II instead carries four Small Craft and sixteen Aerospace Fighters (a full air division) along with 60 Marine Infantry (two platoons). Up to 70 passengers can be embarked (22 1st class and 48 2nd class) . . . or if necessary additional or replacement crew can be added for long-term missions.
Fuel stores are 7,257 tons (including pumps), allowing for up to 180 days cruising at 1-G. 324 tons of food and water provide ample to sustain the crew and passengers for up to 180 days as well. Cargo capacity is divided into two bays of identical size, each capable of holding up to 22,200 tons of cargo, fuel, munitions, or spare parts.
However, in order to gain these abilities, the engineers working on overhauling the old Concordats and restoring them to service were forced to remove two of the four docking collars, leaving just two (appropriate for a frigate).

As of 3080, the TCN had either restored or built a grand total of sixteen Concordat II-class Frigates. These vessels are assigned to one of the four Task Forces that currently comprise the TCN. Each Task Force consists of four Concordat II-class Frigates, two Wagon Wheel II-class Frigates, and one Winchester II-class Cruiser.
More akin to a small Fleet, these Task Forces patrol and protect the Taurian Concordat. One is always stationed in or around Taurus in the Hyades Nebula, a second is undergoing routine maintenance (also in the Hyades), and the remaining two conduct routine patrol operations within the remaining territory of the Taurian Concordat.
A fifth Task Group is also based in the Hyades built around the battleship Samantha Calderon and her two escorting Wagon Wheel II-class Frigates. The Saucy Sam Battle Group is always attached (temporarily) to one of the existing Task Forces when the battleship and her escorts are deployed outside of the Hyades. Normally, these vessels remain in orbit around Taurus to serve as a deterrent to any who would dare attack the capital of the Taurian Concordat.

I like this. I agree with you about it not making sense what happened to the TC fleet. If anything the latest books (FR 2765s, Liberation of Terra I & II, 1st SW and 2nd SW) only make it easier to justify the TC not only surviving in good condition, but thriving. None of the decline that is supposed to have occurred in the years immediately after the fall of the SL is apparent in the books. I'm waiting to see the rest.

And the explanation they give on where the TCN vanished to is . . . well, enough to make one face-palm! Herb said that the entire TCN (except for 1 WarShip . . . probably the New Vandenberg!) was destroyed by the SLDF during the Periphery Uprising.
Except . . . Nicoletta Calderon kept the TDF (and presumably the TCN) out of the conflict! Yes, there were volunteers from the TDF (and I would imagine the TCN as well) on leave that joined the uprising, but not in formed units. Be kind of difficult for Nicoletta to say she isn't involved in the fighting when one of her WarShips shows up in hands of the rebel, after all! (Well, I suppose she could have said, "Oops, we left the keys in the ignition and they took it out for a joyride. Boys and their toys, you know!" But that would have worked (maybe worked, maybe!) once and only once before it became obvious her forces were involved in the fighting.
Yet, the SLDF supposedly destroyed thirty Taurian WarShips--WarShips that were not to engage in hostilities against the SLDF and Nicoletta just . . . let it happen without a complaint or a peep?
And the SLDF is supposed to have destroyed any shipyards and/or repair yards during the Uprising as well.
But the SLDF wasn't at war with the Taurian Concordat, right? Just fighting the worlds that had succeeded from the Star League, but remained part of the TC, right?
I get that they don't like WarShips and don't want them in game . . . but can they come with plausible explanations for why they don't exist anymore other than ". . . and in an act of revenge against the secessionists the SLDF began to open fire on neutral shipping, including full-on WarShips until the TCN no longer existed."
Or something along those lines.
Yeah, I don't buy it. Four or five or six? Yeah, I can see the SLDF shooting up a Taurian Task Force . . . ONCE. And after that, Nicoletta would have pulled them all back to the Hyades (which did not (to the best of my knowledge) harbor any secessionist worlds) and put them in safe harbor while warning Kerensky that the nuclear gloves would come off if he kept on pressing attacks on her "neutral" Fleet.
Every ship that we know about the SLDF engaged during the Uprising came not from the Periphery Fleets, but was acquired through the services of one Stefan Amaris (same man who supplied the equipment for those 50 divisions of uprising troops!). Such as the Dart-class Light Cruiser destroyed by SLS Gettysburg.
Anyway, I'll have the other designs up later tonight or early tomorrow. Sorry for the rant.

Wagon Wheel II-class Heavy Frigate
The second WarShip that the newly reformed TCN has chosen is based upon the unique and venerable Wagon Wheel. Able to accelerate at the same rate as the Concordat II, and carrying the same fighter (16) and small craft (4) complement, as well as a pair of docking collars, these ships make for a fast and remarkably effective Task Force.
Armament has undergone a major revision. The fore, stern, and all four quarter arcs of the ship share an identical weapons array (for the most part, see below). Each features a White Shark Capital Missile Launcher (30 missiles per launcher) and a pair of Medium Naval PPCs. Although this provides just half the number of capital missile launchers as the Reunification War-era Wagon Wheel, TCN doctrine calls for the storage of at least five nuclear-tipped missiles in each launchers magazine.
The fore arc adds a single NAC-20 Naval Autocannon (50 bursts) to this weapons array.
The right and left broadsides arcs are this ships true sledgehammers. However instead of the short-range NAC-35s of the original design, the Wagon Wheel II features three bays each mounting two NAC-20 Naval Autocannon (with each bay having 50 twin bursts of fire). Although capable of dealing slightly less damage than the older version, the new autocannons have a longer effective range and can be brought to bear against hostile vessels much easier.
In addition to the capital scale weaponry above, each arc is fitted with three LRM-15 Long Range Missile Launchers with Artemis IV FCS (40 triple salvos each), six LB-10X Autocannons (40 bursts of fire apiece), and six Medium Pulse Lasers.
1,449 double-strength heat sinks provide 100% of the required cooling for this vessel.
Naval engineers of the TCN (at the urging of Fleet Marshal Vickers before her retirement from service in 3039) reinforced the structure of the Wagon Wheel II, which allowed for the installation of 776 tons of improved ferro-aluminum armor plating. 360 days worth of food, fuel, and water are provided, along with capacity for a full company of Marine Infantry (90). There is space for 172 passengers (49 1st-class and 123 2nd-class) and two cargo bays each with a capacity of 32,500 tons of cargo.

Even in the absence of a cruiser or heavier vessel to lead a Taurian Task Force, they remain a most formidable opponent for this day and era. These WarShips have a combination of thrust, armor, and firepower that all but ensures anyone capable of matching their thrust may well not have weapons to deal with a pair of Wagon Wheel IIs and four Concordat IIs . . . supported by no fewer than a dozen assault DropShips and 96 aerospace fighters! Not to mention the sixty Santa Ana missiles that the Task Force is able to fire! A fact which the Concordat has made no attempt to conceal; after all, if their opponents fear to lose ships and stay out of Taurian space, it is still a win for the restored TCN and the Protector!

Originally the entire TDF fleet was destroyed during the RW. Then later books said no it wasn't and they even added ships during the SL era.
TR3057R said 4 Lola IIs somehow covertly ended up in rebel hands, later material says that they were part of the public TCN.
None of the books detailing the Uprisings indicate that the Hyades Cluster was attacked. In fact SLSB says that Kerenskywas leading the attack to retake New Vandenberg and that having captured it he expected the rest of the Concordat to surrender soon. If the Hyades Cluster was rebelling why would he expect the war was almost over without invading?
If they didn't want the TC to have warships they had a real simple solution- None survived the RW and the TC was not allowed to acquire new ones during the SL era. Why they added all these inconsistencies is beyond me. (But then they complain if a fan suggests a retcon....)

Wildcat-class Assault DropShip
The Wildcat-class Assault DropShip is rapidly becoming the assault DropShip of choice for the Taurian Concordat as well as the Magistracy of Canopus and Outworlds Alliance (to whom Protector Edward Calderon has sold numerous examples).
Based upon the Union-class Troop Carrier, the Wildcat is a completely different beast. All transport capacity has been removed except for a 200-ton cargo bay. The crew has been expanded to 30 officers and men (5 officers, 10 crewmen, 15 gunners); although the design can be operated with fewer crewmen, maintaining this DropShip becomes all but impossible. Therefore, additional crewmen were added to complement, along with food and water to last for deployments of up to 180 days. Fuel bunkers store enough fuel to boost at 1-G of acceleration for 180 days as well. 47 tons of ferro-aluminum armor plating has been fitted as well providing exceptional protection to this vessel.
The armament has been completely revised with each arc mounting three LRM-15 Long-Range Missile Launchers with Artemis IV FCS (40 triple salvos each), six LB-10X Autocannon (with 40 sextuple bursts each), and six Medium Pulse Lasers. 153 double-strength heat sinks allow the Wildcat to freely use this heavy armament.
But the largest difference between the Union and the Wildcat is in the engine core. The Wildcat uses a much larger and more powerful engine that allows for a safe thrust of 3.5-G's and an emergency overthrust of 5.5-G's . . . more than the majority of medium-weight and heavy-weight aerospace fighters!

The TCN uses the Wildcat as it's Assault DropShip of choice. All TCN WarShip Task Forces are exclusively outfitted with the Wildcat which poses a tremendous threat to hostile aerospace fighter forces, as well as enemy DropShips. With sixteen of these powerful DropShips assigned to TCN Task Forces, they can even threaten hostile WarShips.

Winchester II-class Cruiser
Only recently brought into service (the lead vessel, TCS Helena Vickers being commissioned in 3069), the Winchester II promises to be an effective and capable design to lead the Taurian Concordat Navy.
Armament has been completely redesigned from the original Winchester. Every arc of fire (except the stern) mounts identical armament. A White Shark Capital Missile Launcher (with 30 missiles, 5 of which are nuclear-tipped) is supported by two bays each with two NAC-25 Naval Autocannon (with 50 dual bursts of fire). In close, there are three LRM-15 Long-Range Missile Launchers with Artemis IV FCS (40 triple salvos), six LB-10X Autocannon (with 40 units of fire per bay), and six Medium Pulse Lasers.
The stern arc replaces the NAC-25 bays with twin NAC-10 bays, once again with 50 dual bursts of fire each. 1,514 double-strength heat sinks eliminate 100% of the heat generated by the weapon systems.
Design engineers included four docking collars (instead of three) and provided enough fuel bunkerage to cruise at 1-G of acceleration for 360 days. Food and water stores for the 720 crew and passengers are sufficient to last for 360 days as well. The Winchester II can carry two full companies of Marine Infantry (180) as well as 183 passengers (41 1st-class and 142 2nd-class).
Parasite complement consists of thirty-two aerospace fighters and eight small craft. There are two cargo bays, each capable of loading 37,910 tons of cargo. 1,108 tons of ferro-aluminum armor plating provide excellent armor protection as well.
