After the Federated Suns had come back from the brink, liberating New Avalon and and the Majority of the Draconis march from the Draconis Combine, attention was paid to crash rebuilding of forces. fortunatly the factories on many occupied worlds were rebuilt, and while retooled to produce DCMS designs, could be reverted back to thier original purpose in short order. what could not continue however was the use of high quality equipment for the depleted Battle armor forces of the AFFS. despite the runaway success of the Cavalier II, upgraded Grenadiers were a higher priority, and all Cavalier producing factoires were destroyed or moved to Kishi production. Achernar moved in and dusted off an older blueprint that passed prototype, and was even deployed in liited numbers by MI-5, but lost out to the original cavalier. Thus the Fox Battle Armor was born.
Fox Suits are slated to become the new Standard Battle Armor for the AFFS as it rebuilds. They have proven popular when paired with Centurion Omnimechs in forming "Hunter Teams" for weeding out Kurita Partisans in the Draconis Reach.
