Come back to this thread with the lance or Level II that you've decided upon and I can help with a few tricks in certain situations with your 'Mechs.

To put it simply, yes but don't give me more than a Binary, numbers greater than that in BattleTech get more strategic rather than tactical, and that's not my field of expertise.

Yeah, I'd feel comfortable giving advice on company size TOEs.  Like Sheng said, after that, the design choices become less tactical and more strategic.  If you want, list out what models you have, and I'm sure we could put together some TOEs with descriptions of how to use each.

To answer your question directly, make the Turkina a B or C (or if you're a crazy Falcon, the X) configuration.

Your Phoenix Hawk IIC has a problem--it has to cover the butts of four other 'Mechs.  I mean, the Hellfire can sit in the middle of that Assault Star and ask people nicely to stay away, but it won't ever match the PXHIIC for maneuverability.  See my above suggestion, which kind of decreases the original effectiveness of the Star, or replace the Hellfire with a 'Mech with more versatile movement.

Doh!  Well, that's an even scarier Star for ya.  In that case, definitely make the Turkina a close-range bodyguard then, since it's the only other 'Mech with Jump Jets--those free facing changes (or arm flips, I guess) are important.

Oh, that's easy, and...kind of what I'm trying to shoot for with my minis, too...

RACdow Hawk -- a surprisingly tough brawler assuming the big gun doesn't jam.  Popular in our campaign.

And then your choice of:
RACmerhands -- 3/5/5 is quite nice with a TarComp.  If you're worried about ammo issues, there's always the refit in the TRO 3085 ONN section with more ammo.

RACperor -- two ER Large Lasers on top of the dakka = cool

The Emperor is one of those minis you should get no matter who you play as.  It only has a variant for every faction except the Combine!  Even then you can fudge one for them as a ComStar or 2nd Star League loaner.

Discovery I've made from playing so much Davion OpFor - an all RAC lance tends to blow.  While generally speaking, maxing a lance out on weapons with similar or identical performance is generally positive, I've found that when running all RACs, a lance's damage tends to sand-paper their targets without every delivering a killing blow.  I always try to pair a RAC design with an equivalent 8 or 10 point damage dealer.  When used in conjunction, AC/10s or PPCs paired with RACs tend to chew through just about everything at mid-to-short range.

For the RACshasa, you want something that'll keep up with it in combat - The Maelstrom, the Enforcer, different flavor Rakshasa, or JagerMech III. 

For the Templar, I'm thinking that the 9FC Nightstar is a good match.

RACtlas? The dual 20 pointers will help open up some holes once the RAC and missiles have sanded armor down.

Maelstrom or Jager III are both possibilities, aka have the minis already.

Nightstar, I may need to repaint.  Which nightstar, ACs or Gauss'?
