Weapons Factories
Earthwerks spread to each of the Great Houses HMSB p. 129
Earthwerks-  between 2477 & 2482 received special funding from the CC for development work on Battlemechs HLSB p. 35
Transgressor Aerofighter introduced in 2987. HLSB p. 50
Despite losses of many mech factories, the CC could still build many parts (implying partly destroyed factories or supporting factories ) TR3039 p. 230
Hellespont Industrials - once 2nd largest weapons manufacturer in CC behind Earthwerk, mech factories were all but destroyed during the SWs and the remaining plants relocated to Sian (note founding date in book is 2792- during SW- seems too late) moved into the production of Vehicles HLSB p. 120
Kallon had a production line for the Jagermech in the CC location ? destroyed during SWs TR3050 p. 158
Raimai had a factory somewhere in the CC building Sabres. TR3075 P. 212

Falcon Hawk did not enter produciton in canon . The SLDF issued a request in 2768 (seems erronous since the entry talks about the subsequent upheaval of the Amaris Civil War - I would put this at 2766) Development was halted during Coup, and factory was destroyed in 2794.  TR3058 put this factory in the FWL, but  in 2785 Asuncion is in the CC, alternatively it could have been at completely diifferent Kallon factory in the FWL tthat was wiped out. TR3058 p. 98

Rainbow 6

Any idea when the Transit & Transgressor entered service?

I've got a feeling both went into production in the 2900's but i can't find the reference that makes me think that now.

The Transit - sometime around 2515 per the Lightning entry in TR3075
Transgressor around 2987 per House Liao SB p. 50

Quick Dumb question, How can Earthwerks of Tikonov be the largest manufacturer in the CC and there is no other battlemech's listed as being produced there besides the Cataphract. Just one of the many things that have always boggled my mind. You figure as the largest manufacturing center in the CC there should be a lot of detail about.

Well they had to build other mechs there besides the Cataphract since that was only introduced circa 3028- most likely they built Thunderbolts. (They also build several aerospace fighters there per objective raids) As for only producing 1 design- the size of the manufacturer has nothing to do with the number of different designs they produce- in 3025 Corean Enterprises builds 130 Valkyries a year- meaning it builds more mechs then any factory in the CC (per the production amounts in HLSB), more then Independence Weaponry with it's 4 production lines building about 50 mechs, IIRC more then any factory in the FWL, -the only factories who's annual production come close to that of Corean would be Kallon on Talon, Defiance on Hesperus II, LAW on Luthien, and maybe Coventry Metal Works.  So I have no problem with Earthwerks only building 1 mech design- besides if Earthwerks did build the Thunderbolt I would rather have 90 of them then a lot of other designs...

Not near my books but i think its been implied in various books that Earthworks Tikonov was building the:-Stinger, Griffin, Thunderbolt in 3025 as well as introducing the Cataphract, but the other lines were destroyed in the 4th SW.

FedComVet

So besides Shiro III did the CC build any assault mech's prior to 3055?

Also I would have to agree with Rainbow 6 about the variety of mech's produced at Tikonov. 90 Thunderbolts over the course of a couple of years would make the CC very thunderbolt heavy, and a little less likely to be a push over. 90 Tbolts is almost a regiment a year and if you were just using them to replace damaged units you would see regiments almost completely composed of Tb's, being that there is not much production variety in the CC circa 3025. Besides Tikonov the CC is only producing 20 tonners, and Vindy's.

Updates from M&M

Trellis Electronics of Victoria – manufacturers com & targeting systems, never a corporate elite but had slow and steady growth.

Ceres Metals – founded 2415.  Holdings in almost every market segment. Ceres Motors has factories on more then half of the CC worlds in 3070s and several outside the CC – builds personal vehicles. Rumors Ceres has spread to the periphery.  p. 57

Hellespont Industrials
Founded 2792 (still think this is an error).  At it's height, Hellespont was second only to Earthwerks as a supplier to the CCAF.  Had many “scattered holdings” forced to consolidate during the SWs into the large facility on Sian, by 3rd SW  became largest supplier of combat vehicles to the CC.  p. 57

Rashpur-Owens
Founded 2698 (what about being a former Delhi Warship facility?)  For a long time the only functioning naval facility in the CC, but old, decrepit and prone to malfunction.  p. 58

Asuncion Industries
Founded 2477, major supplier of subsystems for Warships and Jumpships. Loss of the planet Asuncion forced them into the interplanetary craft market. p. 58

St Ives
Home to Hildco, Tengo Aerospace.  Most the industry is located underground in natural caves.
