A Peak at the Outer Realms

I am trying to map the deep periphery, but am not yet happy with the results, but here is an overview glimpse of the data so far.

You know there is something wrong with the FWL, when Word's spell check changes Impavido to Impetigo and Zechetinu to Secretion.

Looking good, BN! Can't wait for the full PDF. Lemme know if you need any additional data. I'm getting bored waiting for more sourcebooks with maps

I think a couple of points were missed, but for now it is no issue.  It is getting it to display well that is taking all the tinkering.

Looks good so far.

Is the master map intended to be set in 3095, to match the dates given for the maps in ISP3? (If so, there might need to be a set of "as last known" notes for the coreward sector, since the information blockade for that sector goes up a few years before that map's publication.)

I would make a 3095 map I think.  This one is just set with the KU at the moment.

Really, as long as there is an unbroken line of people calling themselves "Clan Nova Cat," it doesn't really matter to me if they're still using Iron Wombs or not. They may be dead as a faction, but as a people they still exist. It's not uncommon in the real world, after all.

Which part in particular were you wondering about?

That would be the Perseus-Cepheus Cloud Complex.

Correct.  the two smaller red area are the California and Flying Bat Nebulae and the dots in the lower right are star clusters

I just hope the scales I used are correct. I hope when the map is out someone will be able to check against the official maps for discrepancies in scale/distance... not that there would be anything I can do about it.

The actual shape of the things is the hard part.  Now they are in I'll export the actul image from the book and lay it under my shapee and the modify to get  it right.  Slow and annoying work.
