   A Lyran national from the planet of Thorin Archer was a combat veteran with the Federated Commonwealth, serving under Prince Victor Steiner-Davion in the Tenth Lyran Guards RCT, it is unclear at what time he joined the Tenth however he served with the Regiment throughout the Bulldog campaign and onto Huntress where he supported Taskforce Serpent and at the Trial of Refusal on Strana Mechty.

   During the end of the battle on Huntress Archer was called to join his unit in assisting defending the devastated McLeod’s Regiment (Northwind Highlanders) he fought with distinction on Huntress and went on to fight in the Great Refusal on Strana Mechty alongside Prince Victor Steiner-Davion‘s command resulting in victory.  These actions found him put forward for the Star League Medal of Honour, although he thought he was less deserving of the award.  This recognition by both the SLDF and by Victor Davion has given Archer the confidence and near fanatical support of the SLDF and to the Federated Suns First Prince.

   Following his return to the Inner Sphere Archer decided he could not serve Archon Katherine Steiner-Davion, in his native Lyran Alliance, and felt out of place joining the rest of the Tenth Lyran Guards RCT in exile in the Federated Suns instead he planned to retire and take over his family's business on Thorin.  Fate would conspire against him again however as Morgan Hasek-Davion, the new permanent Commanding-General of the SLDF saw need for an experienced person to command the Star League's new First Royal BattleMech Regiment.  Accepting the invitation and a promotion to Colonel Archer became an SLDF officer through and through.

   Following an assassination attempt against Morgan Hasek-Davion in 3068 Archer Christifori was made temporary Commanding-General of the entire SLDF with Morgan taking a more backseat role to heal from his injuries and take a well earned vacation.  During his time as Commanding-General Archer returned to Thorin to examine the University of Thorin remains more closely and then traveled onto Tharkad where he negotiated a deal with Archon Peter Steiner-Davion that would eventually turn the University of Thorin into a fully capable training facility and far down the line undoubtedly turn full control of Thorin over to the Star League.

   During his time on Thorin in 3068 looking over the University site Archer got engaged to Hauptmann Katya Chafee, a lifelong friend and a member of the Thorin militia.  Soon after his engagement he turned the post of Commanding-General back over to Morgan Hasek-Davion and taking a well earned rest.  During this break Archer got married to his fiancée Katya Chafee on Thorin, with Katya joining the SLDF as an Intelligence analyst following the honeymoon.  In February 3079 he became a father to Morgan Victor Christifori named in honour of Morgan Hasek-Davion and Victor Steiner-Davion.

   Following the death of Morgan Hasek-Davion during a visit to New Avalon Archer Christifori became the first Commanding-General to be promoted from within the reborn SLDF's ranks his promotion to the post was near guaranteed by virtue of his previous covering of the post and strong support for him from within the reborn SLDF's personnel and High Command.

3058 - Exact date unknown served as a Leftenant-Colonel 10th Lyran Guards RCT - fought under Prince Victor Steiner-Davion during Operation Bulldog.

6th April 3060 - Joined 10th Lyran Guards and other Bulldog units to finish fight on Huntress.

20th April 3060 - joined Prince Victor Steiner-Davion in the Great Refusal on Strana Mechty fought well taking out 3 Jaguar Mechs however was badly injured when a Smoke Jaguar Mech physically attacked his Penetrator.

20th March 3061 - leaves LCAF upon returning to Inner Sphere refuses commission with AFFS.

21st March 3061 - joins SLDF as a Colonel in command of the newly forming First Royal BattleMech Regiment.

June 3062 - Following a break for personal time officially takes command of 1st Royal BattleMech Regiment on Tukayyid.  Almost as soon as he arrives the unit is given its first assignment.

12th August 3062 - Takes command of SLDF forces on Milos following the Black May attacks which wiped out the 2nd Royal BattleMech Regiment's command.

May 3064 - Promoted to SLDF General placed in command of now First Division of the the Star League Army.

14th April 3065 - Called to support the defense of Melissa in the Lyran Alliance against Clan Jade Falcon.

8th November 3067 - Attended 4th Whitting Conference on Orestes seated with Morgan Hasek-Davion.

21st May 3068 - Following an assassination attempt against Morgan Hasek-Davion Archer becomes temporary Commanding-General of SLDF.

39th September 3068 - Returns home to Thorin as Commanding-General of SLDF.  Reviews University of Thorin site and fights a mock battle against the 15th Arcturan Guards Regiment defeating the LCAF unit under Colonel Felix Blucher.
   - Spends an extended amount of his free time with Hauptmann Katya Chafee, a member of the planetary militia.  During one of these times he proposes marriage and she accepts.

1st May 3069 - Announces that the Sirian Concordance worlds will officially merge with Star League Protectorate.

10th June 3069 - meets with Archon Peter Steiner-Davion on Tharkad.  Officially discuss the rebuilding of Thorin University and Thorin's future.

30th June 3069 - Officially turns post of Commanding-General back to Morgan Hasek-Davion on Skye following the formation of the Isle of Skye.  Takes a vacation on Thorin.

July 3070 - Marries Katya Chafee, she joins SLIC.

4th April 3072 - During a Clan Wolf planning session Khan Vlad Ward on the suggestions of his bondswoman Katrina agrees that Archer Christifori will be a problem in attacking Arcturus.

12th April 3072 - Vlad Ward and Katrina proven correct as Archer works with General of Armies Keane Sortek to push back the attack on Arcturus defeating the Wolf attack.

8th July 3074 - Morgan Hasek-Davion dies on New Avalon - Archer unofficially takes over as Commanding-General.

3rd August 3072 - Confirmed by the First Lord and the Advisory Council Archer Christifori becomes the first Commanding-General promoted from within the SLDF's ranks.

18th September 3072 - orders the purchase of a Davion Block III-class Destroyer from the Federated Suns.

August 3073 - Takes over The Fort facility on Thorin as his Headquarters.  LCAF troops ordered to make way by Lyran Archon Peter Steiner-Davion.

12th August 3077 - Takes Thorin Militia into protective custody (and effectively entire world) under SLDF command as Thorin Militia commander admits his people were involved in an attack on Coventry as part of Democracy Now.

3rd September 3077 - Authorises 1st BattleMech Regimental Brigade commander General Vladimir Rostov to intervene to stop growing problems between 1st Isle of Skye Training Battalion and the 1st Thorin Training Battalion (both on planet).

14th January 3078 - joins SLDF forces in helping defend Draconis Combine From Clan Snow Raven.

26th February 3078 - Helps end Snow Raven invasion on Tabayama commanding the SLDF personnel in the arranged trial between the 3 opposing forces.  Helps lead the SLDF to victory.

20th February 3079 - becomes a father to Morgan Victor Christifori

14th November 3079 - Singled out by Warlord Minoru Kurita as the reason the SLDF continues to gain strength.

16th November 3079 - Proposes the reintroduction of the Gunslinger Program first seen in the original SLDF.  A motion passed by the SLDF Council.

18th November 3079 - on behalf of the SLDF at the Star League council cast the tie-breaker vote that made Captain-General Jeremy Brett the new First Lord edging out Archon Peter Steiner-Davion.

20th November 3079 - Announces SLDF have stopped Mopelia Island Plague on New Earth and proposes that New Earth become an SLDF Protectorate world as more than 70% of population are SLDF employees at present.

11th June 3080 - He sat in on a discussion that saw the M5 Casper Drones return to active SLDF service.

22nd November 3080 - Authorizes SLDF forces to break up fighting between Draconis Combine and Lyran Commonwealth.  Slightly oversteps First Lord Jeremy Brett's orders by officially annexing the worlds of Rigil Kentarus and Caph from the rival nations.  First Lord Jeremy Brett officially confirms Archer's orders soon after stating "the SLDF Commander has acted in the Inner Sphere's greatest Interest"
