Early Years
   Naomi Centrella was born second in line to the Magistracy of Canopus throne.  Like her elder sister she chose to become a MechWarrior much to her mother Emma Centrella's displeasure.  With Danai away fighting the Clans when Emma Centrella was killed on Detroit during the Colonial Marshal revolt Naomi was unexpectedly promoted to the position of Magestix.  Before becoming Magestix Naomi had been romantically involved with Chancellor Sun-Tzu Liao a relationship that continued when Naomi ascended to the throne.
   When Danai Centrella returned alive from fighting the Clans Danai chose to remain in the Federated Suns with Victor Steiner-Davion instead of ripping her nation apart trying to wrest control of the Magistracy from Naomi.  The Magestix permanently linked her nation to the Capellan Confederation by marrying Sun-Tzu Liao on thr 28th March 3069.  Officially the Magistracy remained an independent nation, and benefited greatly from the Magistix's relationship, Naomi spent less and less time there.  With Sun-Tzu Liao she mothered two children Dao-Shen in 3070 and Ilsa in 3073.

Chancellor and the Centrella Black Guards
   By 3073 Naomi was a changed person when she met her sister Danai on Terra she was unwilling to make peace instead leaving Danai.  After the Star League Conference she launched a Coup de etat against Sun-Tzu Liao executing both the Capellan Chancellor and his sister Kali Liao in the Forbidden Palace throne room she did so in front of her first born son Dao-Shen Liao.  She officially changed her name from Centrella-Liao to that of Centrella.
   Following Sun-Tzu Liao's death Naomi survived several assassination attempts and she used the Centrella Black Guard Regiment, a regiment built by her husband as a gift, as her blunt force to crush Free Capella supporters and anti-Centrella movements.  When Chancellor Naomi Centrella learned that the Magistracy had used funds from the Capellan state to build its own shipyard.  She used the Black Guards to retake the facility turning guns on her own people, the battle was over very quickly and Naomi had shown she was in control.  Naomi continued to use the Black Guards as her blunt instrument against her enemies and her own people.  When the regiment was destroyed she ordered it rebuilt instantly to cover the public image of the regiment, the troops although fanatically loyal to her often felt like her cannon-fodder thrown at unit after unit.  Despite the units feelings many Capellan citizens feared the Black Guards as they believed that should the unit appear people would die.

Later Years and Death
   In an effort to rebuild the relations of the Trinary Alliance Naomi gained access to supplies from the Taurian Concordat by making a deal with Protector Erik Martens-Calderon, a deal that she sealed by sleeping with Erik.  From this single encounter she fell pregnant for a third time giving birth to her third child Aleshia.  Officially Naomi said the child was Sun-Tzu's and she had artificially made herself pregnant to bring her closer to her dead husband.  The child's mixed features of Canopian dark skin and sandy blonde hair brought more attention and questions than Naomi wished to answer.
   She went from strength to strength in 3085.  She became First Lord of the Star League Defence Force. an appointment that lasted a single year, removed after ordering the Black Guards against her own people.  Although she was able to steer the Capellan Confederation to conquest of several former Duchy of Anduien worlds creating the Andruien Commonality.  However she was increasingly losing control over her son Dao-Shen, who as he got older he was becoming more trouble.  At the 3088 Star League Conference Naomi made peace with her sister Danai and with Erik Martens-Calderon before her death at the same conference.  Officially she died in her sleep from a heart-attack however many believed that Dao-Shen had been the one to eliminate his mother.
