i figured that. however planets like carver have starleague caches that are relatively easy to raid, unlike Hesperus II. im asking for specific places in 3028 that are home to starleague tech that can be raided or traded.

Not many ashragnorok. Terra being the home of ComStar or New Avalon with its Institute of Science are the two easiest places but you ain't getting in either. Strictest security and the rarity of the technology make any raiding or trading highly unlikely at this time. Welcome aboard by the way!

There are a few other worlds which probably can provide some Star League info or equipment, such as the Niops planets.  However, given how much damage was done to data centers during the Succession Wars (much of it deliberate by ComStar's Operation Holy Shroud), exact locations are difficult to determine, which allows gamemasters & authors the freedom to place hidden Star League era caches & facilities just about wherever they want them.

I don't know if you'd classify Clinton in the same category, but it would be stocked to the gills with old, not necessarily advanced, tech. Snord's Museum is more akin to the Smithsonian rather than the NAIS.

Still, it could have some choice pieces.

Halvagor hit proper with the author's bit - there's a lot of leeway in deciding what you want. Besides being deliberately vague on the subject, the upheaval of the Star League Civil War really malfed things up. The SLDF spread crap all over the place during and after the conflict. The Exodus left quite a bit behind, not all of it in pristine condition.

As a general rule of thumb however, the larger caches will likely crop up on areas where the SLDF was very active (so the TC and old RWR come immediately to mind), but also any place where the SLDF kept a presence you might find something...so, basically the whole Inner Sphere.  ;)

Lopez had a nice little cache, but ComStar demolished the place beneath thousands of tons of rock. Figure if Lopez had a battalion-sized cache, cripes, then any place could.

True but the question was about lostech and not huge caches.
I don't remember everything but wasn't the Museum built upon a SLDF cache?

Also, I recall reading somewhere that as CSI was working for WD, all finds were shipped off to the Dragoons.

Lostech can pop up just about anywhere, just ask the Grey Death Legion. ;D  But as Knightmare said, if you want to be cannon-ish look for worlds where the SLDF had a large presence before and during the Civil War.  Now if someone would just compile a list of SLDF bases....

Pick a planet, any planet. Chances are 96.7% there was at one point some sort of SLDF base. Compiling a list is relatively (and rightly so) fruitless. It's way to awesome to just create your own!

In the Inner Sphere States, they would be far less numerous.
But creating your own base is perhaps the best option.
