What do they mean when they say Alpha Strike uses the Quick Strike system "re-scaled to the tactical level of classic BattleTech?" Do they mean it operates at the 30 meters / 10 seconds scale?

Hmmm, one thught I just had was using QuickStrike/AlphaStrike rules as an alternative to using the TotalWarfare rules when running 'Mech combat in the AToW RPG. Maybe we need an Alpha Stike RPG?

I don't think Alpha Strike would work so well for an RPG in that things die quick in Alpha Strike. Instead of being able to limp that damaged 'Mech off the board, it'll probably be dead.
