Yes but not that much (except for the Hellion's Furry).

And before I made the calculations, the Blood Spirits had officially in 3060 65,714,000. I boosted them a little (like all the Clans) to round things for 3050 but with a growth rate of 1.9% they still had 54,500,000 people in 3050.

Normally yes but I looked and it doesn't match with the Clan population I have for 3060 (my basis).
We already spoke about Kirin and the Ghost Bears and you can add the Nova Cats and also the Burrocks and Smoke Jaguars (even if I guess that most of them were taken by the other Clans as written in sourcebooks).

Makes you wonder about the Dark Caste population living on the Periphery of Clan space. I wonder how big it is??

I'd say no more than 5 million. When looking through the War of Reaving I looked at that a little. A handful of populated worlds and minor roving fleets.

I did the maths, If I go through the planets, I am missing between 300,000,000 and 400,000,000 people (depending if I am in 3050 or 3060).
There is probably something wrong with the data of several planets.

No, the Clan Homeworlds are completely listed from the Pentagon to the Kerensky Cluster.

Oh and now I remember what I wanted to ask you guys here. Population number for the Free Guilds?

Using the Belters in Jihad Hot Spots Terra and Interstellar Players as an example I want to establish a starting point (Strana Mechty circa 2800 from Operation Klondike) and grow their populace from that. Using the spacer example do you think their growth rate would be higher than the Clans or lower? I envision them as having the longest lifespan among the Clans but this may mean a lower birthrate given life in space. Thoughts??

Here are the official growth rate of the different Clans with an average of 2.1.%

Goliath Scorpion   2.40 %
Hell’s Horses      2.10 %

Steel Viper      1.80 %
Wolf                 2.30 %

Since they seem to be a big asset (just look at the reaction of everyone to Khan Crichell's proposal), I would not go under the average growth rate.

Not a bad idea. I was going to come up with a starting population in 2800 as part of the Strana Mechty colony and carry it forward from there. The question is what should that starting population (space inhabitants) be in 2800 for the Clan homeworld?

I wouldn't think its a massive amount if you're limiting it to Strana Mechty it doesn't even have the largest space station in the Clan space. I'd say 2-3 million at most and thats a lot

Taking 2,000,000 in 2800 and applying the 2.1% growth rate gives you a population of more than 360 millions people in 3050.

I went the other way around.
Since I have an estimation of the Clan population in 3060 with also a 3050 estimate, I decided to get back to the population of each planet and saw I was missing a lot of people (circa 400,000,000).
Assuming that the absorbed Clans are just that, ie part of other Clans and getting back to my estimate of Clan Nova Cat and Clan Ghost Bear, I found out that in 3060, there could be something around 218,700,000 Free Guilders and 176,900,000 in 3050, which would make them the most numerous part of the Clans.
However, this is assuming that in my files, they are assigned to one Clan or another (otherwise I would have a problem and I would need to redo all the maths).
