Completly unscientific poll 1: Favorite Hovercraft
« on: January 23, 2013, 10:08:37 AM »

Just thought I would do this for a while.  list you SINGLE favorite hovercraft in Battletech.  Gun to your head make a choice moment of ONE...

okay One clan and one IS

For the Inner Sphere in my case, I was won over by the LVT-4 Hovertank in XTRO Primitives 2.  I would really like to see a non primitive update to that in canon

for the clans, there is no question, the Epona is GORGEOUS!

Really, as long as there is an unbroken line of people calling themselves "Clan Nova Cat," it doesn't really matter to me if they're still using Iron Wombs or not. They may be dead as a faction, but as a people they still exist. It's not uncommon in the real world, after all.

Savannah Master, with a clan ERML if possible.  If doing the RPG thing, with a man portable tag pointed out the window or welded to the side :)

Fast, cheap, fusion powered, no ammo requirements.  While you can't take out an assault battalion with a company of them, you can outmaneuver them so effectively that strategically they are useless.

People don't play enough strategy in BT IMO, and without it, scenarios are just pointless meat grinders, but with it, so many things are so different.  I can't wait for IO, and pray to the thousands of gods worshiped throughout history that it won't suck.

I think I have 40 miniatures of them, and another 24 Gabriels.
