Fall 2024 - BattleTech Plans!
« on: September 22, 2024, 10:20:08 AM »

Been quit around here lately and it is one of my goals to get the forum going again with a little more back and forth. I've learned that list making is a good way of goal setting and perhaps people would like to comment on my list here and/or discuss their own upcoming plan. Either would be very cool!

1. Role Playing Gatherings. I definitely want to get back to my ongoing RPG campaign which is set in the Salient Horizon (Clarion Call) universe and is helping bring that alternate setting alive. This includes the Sohei's Battle of Rockland against the Smoke Jaguars, the Battle of Sadurni, the Hellion's Reckoning, and more.

2. Salient Horizon. More of a macro goal here is to get back to this 3052 alternate assembling TROs (Quicksilver for the Clans and Upgrades for the InnerSphere) and other stuff. This would include getting back to the Clarion Call novelization and storyline with sourcebook work here. That's a bunch I know but I want to start pushing ahead on this.

3. New Terra. The newest of my three settings for BattleTech set in 3057 revolves around the successful defense of Terra by mercenaries and ComStar against the Word of Blake. Driving me onward is my intention to honor BlackTigerActual's memory with the ultimate goal of releasing a new fanbook entitled the Rise of Terra. Would love to get input and assistance here.

4. Shattered Dawn. I know it's disappointing for some but on the backburner for me is my most established alternate set in 2785. This post Star League era look at an alternate 1st Succession War would be a redux incorporating some but not all of the retcon Year of the Star League canon.
