I take it you were trying your level best to clog Herb Pop Culture Filter, thereby slipping a few through?

You know there is something wrong with the FWL, when Word's spell check changes Impavido to Impetigo and Zechetinu to Secretion.

I can see the future requirements for any BT editor:

"...must have encyclopaedic knowledge of pop culture from 1850-2012 across all genres..."

Some were in-universe pop-culture references, like the division that embraces "The Prisoner", others were less clear (a certain motto) and then there are some old-fashioned FASA-type easter eggs. Herb's not adverse to the first as long as it doesn't get carried away and it fits well (and is pre-1989).

Ha!  I stopped paying attention to American popular culture in 1990!  Vindication!   ;D

Same here! Much to my (soon to be wife's) chagrin. She loves the 90s. To be safe I think sticking to pre-1980s is a good call.

I would have liked to see something about the Deneb Light Cavalry regiments

the only Deneb Light Cavalry Unit was the 4th Rapid Deployed Mixed Arm Forces, an independent regiment, with additional units being raised post exodus.  this seperates them from the Crucis Lancers which was almost a Corps worth of Disparate units from all over the SLDF swearing Featy to House Davion.

From what I understand what was left after the war except the 4th left on the Exodus
