Finding the Pygmalion
« on: May 10, 2012, 04:51:41 PM »

I wonder if it's still somewhere in the former Hegemony, if the Word of Blake found her, or if the ship just succumbed to oblivion. Either way, could you imagine finding it in relatively good condition. Wow.

WORD (of Blake) is good for two things. 1. Leaving inappropriate notes on other people's work. 2. Adding fake words (of Blake) to the dictionary.

So . . . is it a ship or a station or something?   ;D

Battle Moon. Big Laser.

Wonder what the Soyal-class Cruiser looked like.

I do believe we have the perfect candidate for the Pygmalion: Eriynes, The World Killer...

You know there is something wrong with the FWL, when Word's spell check changes Impavido to Impetigo and Zechetinu to Secretion.

Not so sure, unless the Blakists stripped out her internals for the Mass Driver. Then again, finding the Pygmalion would have certainly given them a jump start in their SDS research. Then again, again if they had found the Big P they'd have a surviving example of the original SDS - something Kerensky supposedly did away with - and their Caspar II/III system would have been much further along.

Ah, good point.  Still, perhaps she was a deralict when found and helped start the SDS program but needed total rebuilding and so the Big E was the result.  Still, it is proably just TPTB reseeding some new mysteries as alot have been resolved over the last few yaers.

Pygmalion?
Is this related to Era Report: 2750?

Really, as long as there is an unbroken line of people calling themselves "Clan Nova Cat," it doesn't really matter to me if they're still using Iron Wombs or not. They may be dead as a faction, but as a people they still exist. It's not uncommon in the real world, after all.

Yeah this is a pretty neat mystery left hanging by TPTB. I doubt such a craft ever existed however..
