...So, there I am, at the kitchen table, slurping down the Raisin Bran, 'cause "Fiber is Your Friend" to old guys like me, with 12 % battery life remaining and just for kicks I do a google search for "battletech fan project". I barely make it past page 3, its all old stuff. More to irritate my wife than anything else, I go to page 4, and - WTF is THAT?Its a blog, recounting a new fan-produced TRO project! Shades of TRO:3063! And it looks great! Professional layout! New art exclusively by Matt Plog and Anthony Scroggins! Funding goal of $5,000 (incidentally, that's in line with the professional-level layout and art of TRO: 3063 - currently the masterpiece of fan-produced projects in my collection)! Really, as long as there is an unbroken line of people calling themselves "Clan Nova Cat," it doesn't really matter to me if they're still using Iron Wombs or not. They may be dead as a faction, but as a people they still exist. It's not uncommon in the real world, after all.
