while doing some slight research into the Cameron bloodline, i found a reference to House Cameron Davion. while the last known recorded member of that bloodline is James Varnay/Holt/Cameron Davion i would like to think that branch is still alive in the suns somewhere. also as a side note House Kurita Davion is likely still kicking too, last known are Joseph Kurita Davion, Johnna Kurita Davion, Tu Kurita Davion and Loga Kurita Davion, i found it hard to accept that they had no heirs. and yes James is descedant of Varnay, the family tree on sarna has it wrong on the family tree showing veronica davion instead of vincent and mary gordon instead of Guerever Cameron. He is related by his Great Great Great Grandmother Cynthia Varnay Alexander Davion first wife.

Most of the Inner Sphere bloodlines mixed some way
I think it was a nod towards the European Royal bloodlines of the past and a way of saying these families are the to trump of the deck the only way the can find someone of equal status is in the other leader families
Technically there's also a Steiner-Davion Kurita in Kitsune Kurita, Victor and Omiko Kuritas son
And of course the Marik-Davions of Victor and Isis in the DA

yes i saw those, but was staying to the past on what i found. but it is funny that if you take into account Issis and her children with victor, Burton, Jade, Twins and one other i cant remeber, along with possible surving Kurita-Davions from Mary and Soto, that means that House Davion has conquered the sphere. blood wise that is. Steiner-Davion, Marik-Davion, Kurita-Davion, Cameron-Davion. and lets not forget it was hinted at that Sun-Tzu was a invetro baby, i remember reading somewhere that Romano somehow got some of hanse's DNA and used it to get her prego.

The main branch of the Kurita-Davions was wiped out by Amaris (the Kurita family members on Terra used as hostages? that was them). And the lesser branches were wiped out in the First Succession War IIRC.
Checking the family tree in the back of the old House Kurita sourcebook, Soto Kurita and Mary Davion had three sons.
Vincent died in combat in 2788 but had two sons. The elder, Drago, and his family were all murdered by Amaris in 2780. The younger, Hiragi, died in an accident in 2750 - jumpjet failure.
The next son, Quentin, died in 2800 in a dropship explosion. His only known child, Thomas, committed suicide. Reading between the lines, he may have been the Kurita commander humiliated by the AFFS guerillas on New Rhodes in 2788. Then again, there's an 8 year gap between that and his death so possibly there was another failure on New Rhodes.
The last son, Chada, was the last known survivor of the Kurita-Davions and died in 2810 at the age of 104. (Kurita lifespans are OP). There's literally no information I'm aware of about him save for the above facts. He had no reported children.
It's entirely possible that Quentin and Chada were targets for MIIO in the organisation's early days. They'd have been clear threats to Paul Davion so eliminating them would have been desirable.

i find it very hard to believe Chada had no children. Kuritan males seem to have healthy libidos. Thomas very well could have had children, illegitimate i know.

that means that House Davion has conquered the sphere. blood wise that is.
No real surprise ;)

Hey wolfcannon, did you ever see my Guardians of the True Path? It is a fanfic for one of my old BattleTech characters which ties in with the Kurita-Davions.

an idear just hit me, An AU where Mary raised her kids to want to Follow in her Davion heritage footsteps and it gets twisted by her kids and Chada began to intertwine the two Warrior ideologies of both Kuritan and Davion. Chada know he will not be Coordination nor First Prince, so in order to throw of everyone he secretly marries and keeps his family hidden from the ISF and DMI and all other prying eyes. Chada urged a daughter when she turned 18 in 2769 to catch the eye of Zabu, knowing his Cousin Jinjiro was unstable and would not last long as a coordinator. Zabu fell in love and made her his favorite Concubine, in fact she was the concubine in his bed when Zabu was confronted by a General, her children went on to become great leaders. yes that means Omi was related to victor.

What source sarna and the handbooks are all I can go by and no mention of any crosses with out Guerever and Vincent Davion II.
-
Looking at both House handbooks the line must be dead. James holt died in 2663. An there was no illegetimate child named from Vincent. So here comes the question who was Vincent Davion II Father? As Listed in the House Cameron Family Tree.

I can't believe I never posted the Guardians of the True Path (aka Sun Dragons) here which deals with the Kurita-Davion line.
