Hmmm.... not that I ever would be, nor would I want to be, but if I was....
#1. Fire every moderator on the forums, period, that place is horrible, and hurts the game far more than it helps. I couldn't count the number of negative references I've read outside of that forum (and sometimes on it) about the people on there. That is an extremely horrible thing when your online welcome place poops on newbies.
#2. Digitize the data, all of it, even if still kept private. This will make the data more consistent, less error prone, and FAR FAR easier to fact check.
#3. Organize the volunteers and delegate stuff. There are a lot of people trying to help, a lot of people who WANT to help. It shouldn't be hard to get them organized on "side" projects. XTRO's could be done by just a handful of people, plus the artists. People like myself with various computer products would all be put together and assigned a volunteer project manager, to keep folks on track. This may have to be "outside" of CGL to avoid legal issues, but the organization would do wonders.
#4. PDFs get errata applied and updated monthly.
#5. Fix fasanomics, however it may be done (my preference is kill 99% of the population in 2500 or so due to 'cooties')
#6. The non-main-storyline items would be in a kickstarter type format. Got a great idea for a product, submit it, those with the highest "pledges" at the end of each month or quarter or something become the new main focus for publications.
#7. Stick with 1 artist per TRO.
#8. Create a subscription based system that has exclusive units each month, and *print* TROs each year. Could have some access to #2. Perhaps $10-$20 per month, depending on content.
Course, I couldn't do any of that, as I'm banned from forum communication, so shucks!
