Just a request for a idea, a Defender CV varient.

 A lot of my friends in my Universe setting fell into a major frenzy when I introduced the concept of the Defender AAA Cruiser in the Shattered Dawn setting and they have been requesting if we could use the design for game and online story, but they wish to go one step further and make a CV variant of it, with all the conventional weapons but minus the Cap's and replace them with fighters and some Sub Cap Piranha launchers, so I am requesting permission to use the base design for inclusion in our storyline, of course all credit will be posted on our web forum when we post both the original and our CV variant which will be listed as a sub class.

Also if there is a HMA fi;e of the defender handy for use that would be awesome, if not doing one from scratch is no problems, just want to get permission first.

Glad to see our ships living on in your setting Corsair. The Defender was Irose's creation so for the sake of accuracy I will let him sign off. I'm sure I have a HMA file on it somewhere. PM me your e-mail and I'll shoot it over.

KK will do, I like the ships from the SD universe, just waiting for new stories and such

I'm glad you like the design and have no problem with you using it for your game & story.  Unfortunately I don't have an HMA file for it.I'd be curious to see what you do with the design in the CV variant.

I have the HMA files for all ships appearing in TRO2800 Irose and have passed this one along to Corsair. ;)

The CV version is posted in the Aerotech section now, it's under the name Guardian CV, styed true to the idea just went with sub cap's missiles for the Naval weapons to free up the space for fighters and some extra tonnage for a future refit or add on to new construction for a LF battery to be added.

lol, should have asked for the whole kit and kobotle, there was a assault dropship called the Thunderbird ? that the group was interested in to use as the dropships assigned to the Guardian Carrier.

My bad had them relook it up they meant the Firebird class Assault Ship, but Thunderbird sounds pretty good for a name also hhmmm
