Oh Boy if you are not a Battlecorps Member yet you should be. the first in a series of Novellas called Redemption Rift is out and outlines Wolf's Dragoons Return to service with the Draconis Combine. the first part is getting a lot of technical detail out of the way and reestablishing setting (so think of any novel written by Michael Stackpole) but otherwise is a grand olde time. Jason Schmetzer knows how to write Dragoons, as he proved with The Last Day of Zeta, Hector, and Feral (also available on Battlecorps).
Seriously, as a dark age fan I am excited to see where this piece goes. go ahead and give it a gander.
