Depends what you are looking for i.e. What kind of fight, size, era

I'm always open to people adding to mine I could even make it part of the timeline if you wanted but my AU is currently in 3106 so I don't know if that fits for you

Really, as long as there is an unbroken line of people calling themselves "Clan Nova Cat," it doesn't really matter to me if they're still using Iron Wombs or not. They may be dead as a faction, but as a people they still exist. It's not uncommon in the real world, after all.

Well mine is currently set in 3052. Over the past few months my friends and I have had fun doing two large battles that had different results as well as setting up their own merc unit. Next we are up to a Clan campaign with an initial Trial of Position for each.

http://www.ourbattletech.com/forum/dragon-cat-collection/

It's all here (there's quite a bit)

Essentially it is an Inner Sphere where the Second Star League continued, no Jihad fought, WarShips are booming and the Inner Sphere has continued with conflict across the Inner Sphere and periphery.

It's up to you really whatever you want really you can fight in battle alongside house troops, in the Periphery fighting pirates or in one of the many border conflicts or defending the Clan border alongside the SLDF.

Tell me what you want and I can find somewhere and give you some details about the area and what's going on.  Then when you are done I can put an entry into the timeline and your unit has made its little mark.

Can't go wrong with DC's timeline, the Mailed Fist are still going strong (I will write up the timeline for the unit at some point).

Feel free to add whatever you want.

My only restriction is no WarShips even if you come up with a fantastic reason for it.

If you've got a specific area of the Sphere or Periphery you want to be based or hail from let me know

Talk to me about Mercs serving alongside the SLDF and/or Fed Suns plz.

By and large the same canon Mercs from the 3060s/70s (before the canon Jihad conflict) still work for the Federated Suns.

They can be expected to serve on any of the borders and like canon will likely be in the thick of the fighting.

For the SLDF the Wolf's Dragoons still defend Outreach but are not as a rule under contract with the SLDF.  The Northwind Highlanders have officially joined SLDF service as have the Eridani Light Horse Brigade and a couple of small units the Killer Bees, Devils Advocates are both SLDF units now.

Generally speaking the SLDF don't hire mercs in the AU they have a significant force of their own and to this date only the Word of Blake/Manei Domini has openly attacked their Protectroate.  When the SLDF serve with one of the Succession States the mercs are officially hired by the individual states.
