Haha. No seriously, I wanted a new Rattler Mk. III. It didn't happen.

Some more tidbits about the ilClan sourcebook and the "Fall of Terra" event:

Quote
<TaiDaiCultist>: Thanks Herb What I meant to get at was more like: When we next see the plot advance, will the 'this is what's going on now' still be the same conflicts as in ER3145, or will the next plotbook jump the plot beyond the resolution of these 'current' conflicts?

<Habeas2>: TaiDaiCultist - The next sourcebook after FM3145 will advance us to circa 3151, and will describe the events that occurred between those two points in history. Calling any of it "resolved", however, would be a lie. Few things in BattleTech are ever truly "resolved".

<Nerroth>: It seems to me that the ilClan sourcebook will be to BT what Storm Front was to 4th edition Shadowrun, in terms of setting things up for the next incarnation of the universe in question. However, the omnibus nature of SF, and the page count, didn't necessarily leave a lot of room for each plot point to be handled.
<Nerroth>: Are you confident that the ilClan book will be able to matc, if not exceed, Storm Front's example, in terms of being able to cover enough based to work as a "transitional" volume?

<Habeas2>: Nerroth - Yup.

<Nerroth>: Can it be said what year the "Fall of Terra" event will be set in? I saw someone note 3147 on the forum, but I have no idea if that person got that year from a particular source, or was just guessing.

<Habeas2>: Nerroth - There are many falls of Terra. You'd need to get specific.

<Nerroth>: The one which will be featured at this year's GenCon, with the Wolves versus the Republic.

<Habeas2>: Nerroth - Oh. Circa 3150

"So who tripped Terra this weekend? That place is always face down in the dirt."
