Hello
« on: May 18, 2011, 12:31:05 PM »

Hello all
I am new to these boards. Rainbow6 pointed me this way. I am a returning player from about 15 or 20 years ago. I am not as interested in Battletech but more Battleforce. I would like to ask if I can run a play by post here. If I can where should I place it? I decided to do a play by post cause, the nearest game store is 2 hours away and gas prices make it a bit diffecult to go there on a monthly bais.  My idea for the play by post is that is have people interested in playing use the quick start rules for a few games and if they like it they can then buy Strat Ops and play with the big boys.  At that point I might try doing it with Vassel. A meneber (atlask?) of the CBT forum said he was doing a Vassel mod for mostly Quick Strike, but it could probally be used for Battleforce. Anyways let me know. Thanks in advance for your help in this matter, oh if I can't play here could you point me to a forum where we could play? I want to try a play by post be fore switching to email.  Thanks again for any info.

I can set you up no problem. Send me a quick PM with the specifics.

And Welcome!

Welcome.
Your proposal sounds interesting.

Really, as long as there is an unbroken line of people calling themselves "Clan Nova Cat," it doesn't really matter to me if they're still using Iron Wombs or not. They may be dead as a faction, but as a people they still exist. It's not uncommon in the real world, after all.

Thank you all for making me feel welcome. I am sure I'll have question and comments (maybe gripes and grumbles [ don't we all]) I hope to get to chat with most of you.
