BattleTech products aren't Pokemon Cards. You don't have to catch, or collect them all.

WHAT NO ONE EVER TOLD ME THAT!

I ended up pulling out of this KS (which is rare, I'm KS addicted!) as none of the boards looked very good.  Well, the city boards look *great*, but they are 10mm, and thus are 50% larger than they should be for BT play.  I'm big on scale, and it just doesn't look right.  I tried to get them to do 6mm and failed.

HOWEVER, these guys:

Are doing a similar product, WITH 1.75" hexes (perfect for heroscape) on what are essentially big mouse pads.  They have tons of options and terrain, and have said if you make your own texture they can print it.

So far the only downside is they can only do 2' widths, so for an 8x6 map you'd need 3 of them.  They are very non-stick though, and FAR easier to store.  They are also listening to fans more than any other KS I've partaken of.

In the last 24 hours though, it'll be done about noon CST on Jan 8th.
