Request for help with adding to the TRO 1945+
« on: July 11, 2015, 11:24:23 PM »

was introduced to the E-75 and Maus courtesy of all the World of Tanks videos on Ytube and was wondering if any one has ideas to make the E-75 ? like they did for the other WW II stuff in the TRO ?

The turret being the same as the Tiger II, the weapons are rather straightforward.
Make it a slower (40 kph), bigger (75 tons) Tiger.

The tonnage, speeds, fuel range, and weaponry of all the TRO 1945 units were based on my research of those units via Wikipedia. I'd recommend checking your base figures there, firstly.

For any weapons not already covered by the TRO, well... I used a pretty basic approach wherein muzzle velocity was used to calculate ranges and damage was... somehow related to a combination of weapon diameter, muzzle velocity, and rate of fire. To avoid making a jumbled mess of the rules, I basically anchored most weapons from cannon size and up to the same range/damage values if they had the same muzzle diameter, so all 20mm fighter cannons had the same stats, as did all tank cannons, and so forth. If any were to have special benefits, I figured quirks could cover the matter.

Of course, that was all a few years back; I'd stopped myself when i began trying to stat naval weaponry, since the project had already gotten bloated enough for a freebie.

True but this one never really entered production, so its stats are...

Well, the Maus was prototyped at 188 tons. Had an operational speed of 22 kph, an operational range of 62 km (off-road), and an armament that consisted of 1 128mm cannon (32 shots), 1 75mm cannon (200 shots), and 1 7.92mm MG (1,000 rounds), all in a turret (though the V1 model lacked a proper turret).

So, we do have the design specs on that one.

The E-75 Standardpanzer was specced for 75 tons, an operational speed of "about 40 kph", and a turret-mounted 8.8cm cannon (which would have picked up the Accurate Weapon Quirk, due to an enhanced targeting system).

Were I building these, I would start with those stats.
