The Blood are the theorised decendents of Clan Wolverine hiding behind ComStar.

You know there is something wrong with the FWL, when Word's spell check changes Impavido to Impetigo and Zechetinu to Secretion.

Well as far as the Blood existing at they've been proposed, probably just your standard carrot dangle outside of any real plot details.

Still, the Wolverine-Blood theory is certainly fun to play with as long as you avoid making actual Shadow Division/Blood connections.

Well I'd find it hard to believe that there isn't a connection to the Shadow Divisions and the Blood. Where do you think the Shadow Divisions were raised? Likely on the Five and they likely recruited a couple of Wolverine Blooded soldiers. No??

Pfft.  I prefer to ignore everything after 3038, because the proliferation of FoundTech makes the game less fun.  And they kept adding Monsters of the Decade, which they're still doing...

Point well taken guys. Maybe I put a little too much thought into a poor venue.

Point well taken guys.

Not sure I'd agree on that part so much. Heads don't belong in the sand.

The Blood storyline can work fine in the 3052 era, it's just a question of how much you want to tweak their buildup. Going from canon information, they (and the indirectly related Shadow Divisions) would be pretty tiny in terms of military forces. I'd actually suggest looking more on the model of special forces. The Fidelis in the Republic era wouldn't be an altogether horrible model to look towards.
