Meh. Zombie Thread.

I was skimming through my manufacturers notes and found some interesting inconsistencies. Still, I'm wondering if we have any information on the location of these companies? Clearly some are self explanatory like Apollo Interstellar, but I'm wondering about the others...

well apollo interstellar was taken over by the Star League when apollo was captured.   either the factory was taken with the star league when it left or it was destroyed by either steiner or kurita.

i would presume the same fate awaited any Rim manufacture that the SLDF came across or steiner,  or they could have just up and fled to the outpost #27 to await the return of amaris

Stormvanger Assemblies

I believe this was based on Caph in the Terran Hegemony and made the Javelin. ?? Not 100% sure on that.

They also made the Falcon on Hesperus, so I don't know where or how Stormvanger got onto the list. That's why I was asking about them.

I mean, some of these Terran companies could have set up shop in the RWR - after all the RWR was a close "ally" (or saw itself as one) of the Hegemony until the Coup. Like Puerto Rico or Costa Rico, the nation could have fostered an atmosphere ideal for foreign investment and construction. Or, it could have just been a mistake in the writing.

I would say Stormvanger was a Terran company but the close relations of Terra and the Rim from the backing of Gregory Amaris during the Reunification War to the start of the Amaris Coup could easily see Hegemony businesses setting up subsidaries in the Rim Worlds. From canon the Republic had plenty of cheap labor even though its industry was somewhat sparse.

That's what I figured. Like I said, it's either that or another familiar screw up in the original sourcebooks.
