Didn't realize you were banned, I don't remember seeing you cause any trouble. . .

Anyways, pity to see that plans to have the original LAMs done up in 3d goodness fell through.
Which modes are we getting when conventional sculpting starts on these? It's been a while so I don't remember if all were funded or just mech and fighter.
The below post is from the official Battletech forum that I posted about the MkI LAM's
The MKI LAMs that are funded are scheduled to be sculpted in the traditional manor. With the back log of items to be sculpted that where fan financed getting smaller, the LAM's will be coming up. The MKI's will still be done and are not forgotten about.
The original plan when the idea of using the 3D CAD files to make the miniatures from it. Was to do the Spectral and the MKI LAM's , but after disappointing results earlier last year the project of using the 3D CAD went into limbo. Due heavy from the several factors that caused the original Waneta to come out one peice and with Prototyper lines on it. These lines carried over onto the metal master and the overall details on the mech were poor. The one in the mini cabinet from Gen Con was that mini done in metal with a lot of work to it.
The solution to the problem that were discovered, was to have the CAD file broken up and adjusted to allow them to make a better miniature. Around the time of Gen Con they found a company in Ohio who was able to do the need work and also could RTV them with out the Prototyper lines that would show up in the metal master. This would also increase the cost of doing each version of the Spectral LAM's so the decision was made to do a Kickstarter for them. Depending on how successful the Kickstarter is will depend if more can be done using this method.
