With the arrival of firekite today, we just reached 200 members for OBT.  Nice to see we are continuing on our pathway to world domination as planned.

Honestly, the only thing that genuinely seems to work is content. As the old adage goes, "Content is King."

So when the content runnith dry, so does forum, site and visitor usage drop.

I don't have much to offer in the way of content anymore. Other settings and my own personal gaming mad scientist projects have won over my attention from BT recently. I'll likely still do some MegaMek here and there, but if I'm going to do the level of work needed for an AU that I'm willing to accept as quality material of my own, I think I'd rather play in my own sandbox. So, hence not much posting on my part. The current policies and practices of CGL don't thrill me a great deal currently, which probably doesn't help.

While I like to foster AUs, content as currently defined doesn't necessarily have to be an AU, or related directly. IMO, this place is open to just about anything. If it's not BattleTech, I'll find a place for it. Don't really care what it is honestly. There's a lot of resources available to people who want to actually utilize them.
