Title: What if the New Delphi Compact had been the target of Kerensky's Exodus
Post by: Gabriel on January 01, 2016, 09:56:17 AM
It would of been interesting if The New Delphi Compact had been taken. The Clans would of been closer to the Inner Sphere less travel time and they could of slowly absorbed Rest Stop ,Rover ,New Sierra  Mauna Loa and other places like Shady Palm.

It would have benefited some of the Clans like Star Adder and it would have been considered a waste of time by most.  It would have been smart though.

True but I was thinking when Kerensky left that he headed east instead of north who knows the Clans might of been supremely different.

Hmm...  okay I checked the info for the New Delphi Compact.  I would say a good percentage of the SLDF in exile population would have perished from the local plague (let's say 30 to 40 percent) since the people that live there would not have been too helpful with the former SLDF members.    The survivors would have assimilated with the locals and could have rebranded themselves as the Star League in exile.  The Clans would have still formed but it would be less militant?

Or more militant since they are closer to the IS and it's more of a threat

You could very easily see the crusader movement coming much earlier and as a result a much earlier invasion.
