The battle continues to rage across the normally isolated world of Niops VI with the Niops Defenders having received additional reinforcements the successful outcome of the Marian Invasion is no longer a forgone conclusion. If the defending forces can integrate and formulate a consistent defense the Marian's may even be driven from the world.

Pirate raiding continues across the inner sphere however reports of larger task forces and troop concentrations being encountered no doubt limits the effectiveness of these bands of marauders.

Oberon forces descended upon the abandoned world of Götterdämmerung clearly demonstrating their newfound cohesion and integration of numerous former pirate bands.

The Capellan Confederation launched yesterday a proposal to the whole Inner Sphere and Periphery to focus on eliminating pirate threats and focusing on economical development as the way out of the eternal wars that plagued the Inner Sphere and Periphery for centuries.

Communication between the Marian Hegemony and Free Worlds League has seen a dramatic increase in the past few weeks. Likely due to the presence of League forces on the Marian capital and reinforcing the Niops Defenders on Niops VI.

Independent investors have also pledged support for the scientists of Niops however this support has not yet demonstrated itself in the actual military forces needed on Niops VI.

The pirate band Bjarni's Blood encountered a significant deployment of CCAF and has been destroyed.

With the recent cessation of hostilities at Star's End between the Star's End pirates and the forces of the Lyran Commonwealth the OC is on the move.  Having recently been bolstered by the addition of several "former" pirate bands the Oberon military is "inviting" independent periphery worlds to join the Confederation.  Rumor has it that at least six worlds will receive this invitation in this month alone.

There is no doubt that a new star nation is being forged even as we speak.
