Overview of incident

While returning from Outreach where they attended the funeral of Supreme Commander Jamie Wolf of the Wolf's Dragoons
 the FSS Alexander Davion and the SLS Unity City carrying First Prince Victor Steiner-Davion and his family were attacked
in the New Stevens starsystem by an unknown, suspected Word of Blake force.  Unable to jump away and with
reinforcements out of range they had no option but to fight.

In Detail

With the SLS Unity City using its onboard HPG to call for assistance the FSS Alexander Davion engaged the paired
Zechetinu-class Corvettes, with their own Airwing and that of the Royal Black Watch in support, the two Corvettes were
closer than the three destroyers and Fleet Admiral Andrea Petain onboard the Alexander saw the defeat of these vessels
as the only viable way for the Alexander Davion to survive the battle.

After trading fire at range which caused the enemy force several DropShips and fighters the Alexander Davion closed and
engaged the two Zechetinu's.  Although they took some heavy damage and they lost several fighters including the Royal
Black Watch's Vengence the FSS Alexander Davion was able to get into a position to fire a broadside into each of the two
vessels shattering the FWLS Karelia which had been on the Alexander's port side while command section of the Tirana,
which had been on the Destroyer's starboard side, exploded under heavy fire.

Unable to take a heavy pounding from the three Destroyers the Alexander Davion turned away from battle rejoining the
Unity City heading to a mass of fragmented asteroids and comet fragments which had been traveling through the system.
As they did the Alexander Davion switched through the aerospace fighters refuelling and rearming them all. Unfortunately
this action slowed the Alexander Davion's progress allowing the destroyers to close and begin to engage the Alexander
Davion a second time.  Unable to clear their pursuit Fleet Admiral Petain was looking at losing the first First Prince in combat
since Ian Davion in 3013 although she had planned to turn and engage the pursuers the Unity City's commander
 Commodore Bey had another idea.  A First Lord had never been lost in combat and this would not be the first time.

Breaking formation the Unity City's crew used their vessel's massive engines to charge down the three destroyers in pursuit
forcing them to change course to engage the vessel with as many of their weapons as possible.  Supported by the long
range fire from the Alexander Davion and the fighters of the Royal Black Watch.  Traveling at speed the Unity City avoided
the majority of the weapons fire directed at them ramming straight into the first Essex-class vessel shattering both vessels
in a tremendous explosion.  The shrapnel from this blast destroyed several of the Essex's fighters allowing the Royal
Black Watch's fighters to disengage and return to the Alexander Davion.  Even with the Unity City's sacrifice only three of
the Black Watch fighters made it to the Alexander Davion as it entered the Stellar Mass field.

Four days later the Alexander Davion had successfully avoided the majority of the weapons fire from the remaining two
WarShips but in the course of moving through the Stellar Mass the Davion III had taken additional damage and staying
there would further damage the WarShip.  The Alexander Davion and her remaining fighters charged from the stellar mass
hoping to charge its KF Drive before sustaining too much damage however they ran straight into the two remaining enemy
vessels sustaining heavy damage.  As the ship began to drift out of control the two enemy WarShips turned finish the job
however there was yet one more twist as two fresh Lola III-class Destroyers, the Wolf's Dragoons vessels Nelson and
Darius arrived,

The Wolf's Dragoons having recieved the Unity City's distress call engaged the remaining enemy forces destroying the
Naga II-class Destroyer instantly.  The remaining Leopard CV-class DropShip turned in on the Darius ramming the Dragoon
vessel causing a series of internal explosions inside the destroyer which shattered its KF Core and gutted the vessel.  The remaining Essex Mk I-class Destroyer was quickly dispatched by the Nelson.

Aftermath

With the Nelson's HPG First Prince Victor Steiner-Davion was able to signal for additional AFFS units to rendezvouz with
them and recover the FSS Alexander Davion and their crew.  First Prince Victor Steiner-Davion promised General Maeve Wolf and the Dragoons anything they wanted in exchange for their assistance.  Eventually the AFFS agreed to provide the
Dragoons with a newly built Davion Block III-class Destroyer, the FSS Arthur Steiner-Davion, the Dragoons renamed the
vessel the Wolf Pack.
