Intergalactic Warfare
« on: September 12, 2011, 05:13:19 PM »

Hello all

I am trying to get people into playing Battleforce. Here is a list of what you will need. Also if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to let me know.

Intergalactic Warfare
Beginners need the following
   Battleforce Quick Start Rules. (http://www.classicbattletech.com/index.php?action=downloads)
   A pair of dice
Intermediate
   Battleforce Quick Start Rules. (http://www.classicbattletech.com/index.php?action=downloads)
   Nckstrel Battle Mech table (http://www.pryderockindustries.com/dl_game_aids.php#BFC)
   Under the Battleforce cards.
A pair of dice

Advance
   Strategic Operations
   All of nckestrel’s Battleforce tables.
Other maps ( Vassal?)
   A pair of dice.

At some point I would like to run a campaign, but I haven't found a campaign system that I am just nuts over. The campaign that I would like to run is NOT in the BT verse. I want people to pick any faction and be able to play that faction without worrying about if the two forces ( or more) could ever fight each other. Example, Clan Smoke Jaguar is fighting the Marian Hegemony. I may have to wait till Interstellar Ops comes out. Anyways, if anyone has any questions, please ask.

And Clan Ice Hellion with Clan Hell's Horse and Clan Ghost Bear against the whole Universe? ;) (perhaps, the Swift ones could join us :P).

Lol My idea even includes if a player would want to have (at some point) say a galaxy from Ice Helion, Hells Horses, and one from Ghost Bear, and call your 'clan' the fluffy bunny clan, yopu could do that. The one problem so far that keeps cropping up is the maps to play on. Say two player are going at it and roll up one of the urban maps and one of the players. Doesn't have that one then what. I know they could roll for another map, however I know I don't have all the maps, but still want to play on maps I don't have. So what then? I an looking at vassal for this, but I am unsure. Well got to run.

We the Swift Ones would be honored. To bring the Clan Way of Life to the poor unfortunates is our duty.

Alright, I am having to put this project on hold for a bit. Either my laptop or powercord shot craps. :'(  I really hope it wasn't the laptop, I have a horde of files that took me many years to collect. I could replace most if not all, but that a horror film I donßt want to star in. My says she would rather buy a new laptop than a new powercord because she's afraid it's the laptop ( it IS a dinosaur) then we would be wasting money. I just don't really want her to spend that kinda money on me. Anyways untill I can get this issue solved, I have only a few maps to play on. I will try to get an inventory up so we aren't just playing on the QSR map.

I'm back, sort of. New computer, but still have to find all the files I have downloaded over the past 5 or 6 years..... well not all of them. Anyways, I am trying to get all this set back up. I can still start up on the QSR map. So come one come all.
