Long range imaging of a Delta configuration (left) and a Prime configuration (right) at the landing zone, accompanied by supporting battlearmor. The appearance of more than a single SH-001 is unusual, and indicative of a major campaign.

The DCMS has the Teppo for commanders, but not everyone was satisfied. The more traditional samurai wanted to be closer to the front lines, as well as more mobile than a melting glacier. The solution was the Simba superheavy.

A dedicated command unit, the Simba is an omnimech in order to maximise flexibility. Based on the results of decades of analysis of recovered salvage from the battles on Terra against the Blakist Omega superheavy prototypes, this omnimech is somewhat less ambitious. Nevertheless, the commander shall find himself in a fully combat worthy unit, with sufficient podspace for a wide variety of needs. Most configurations are oriented towards long range support, in order to reflect the primary mission of avoiding finding itself on the front line.
