What IICs do we have coming into Quicksilver?

I am not concerned about lowering or raising the tonnage. Again the new Quicksilver IICs are being "produced" (or rather activated from Brain Caches after undergoing Clan modernization) to augment the Touman of the Clans to complete the invasion.

Thanks JP, I am taking this all into account for Quicksilver. I also found an article over on BattleTechWiki.

Phew, okay folks folding five designs into one is not easy but thanks to JPArbiter I think we have a really Awesome IIC!  ;)

AWESOME IIC
Mass: 80 tons
Chassis: Technicron Type G
Power Plant: Pitban 240
Cruising Speed: 32.4 kph
Maximum Speed: 54 kph
Jump Jets: None
   Jump Capacity: None
Armor: Durallex Heavy
Armament: 3 Type 22 Extended Range Particle Projection Cannons
1 Series 1 Extended Range Small Laser
   1 “Goalkeeper” Anti-Missile System
   4 Anti Personnel Pods
Manufacturer: BattleMech Y3 Facility
   Primary Factory: York
Communications System: Raldon R1 with ECM Suite
Targeting and Tracking System: TRTTS Mark II CWS

OVERVIEW
The Quicksilver Program spurred five different entrants based on the Awesome BattleMech. While none of these modular submissions were accepted by the ilKhan during Trails thirteen and fourteen they did garner a lot of positive attention. Much like the vaunted Blood Knight he directed the Clans involved to complete a joint IIC version which would replace the Warhammer IIC. That 80 ton BattleMech had been ordered upgraded to the Glaive OmniMech following the thirteenth Quicksilver Trail. This decision threw together personnel from Blood Spirit, Coyote, Diamond Shark, Fire Mandrill, Goliath Scorpion, Hell’s Horses, and Snow Raven. Of course not everyone saw eye to eye during this massive collaboration of seven different Clans. Some scientists wanted a faster design, others a more mobile one that featured jump jets, and the Mandrills fought each other as well as Coyotes, Scorpions, and Hell’s Horses. Luckily Star Captain Emmett Vargas of the Blood Spirits showed single minded determination in the face of this strife. Insisting on “keep it simple stupid” he personally fought countless trails to keep the Awesome IIC on schedule and remarkably successful.

CAPABILITIES
For all of its success the Awesome IIC is little different from the AWS-8Q which was by design. Retaining the Technicron Type G internal structure, myomers, the Pitban 240 Fusion Engine, gyroscope, and Durallex Heavy armor conversions of existing models are a pretty straight forward matter. Easy to manufacture, repair, and above all cost effective the ‘Mech can make use of lower tech components manufactured currently in the InnerSphere or in years past by the Star League. This has made the Awesome IIC valued not only to Homeworld Garrisons but to the Invading Clans as well.
The classic Awesome armament remains in the form of three Type 22 Extended Range Particle Projection Cannons taken from the Indra Infantry Transport. Even the Small Laser remains in Clan Extended Range model thanks to the Series 1 gleaned from the Ishtar Heavy Fire Support Tank. An advanced Clan Targeting Computer that provides devastating accuracy for this arsenal is the single most sophisticated piece of equipment on the IIC model. Twenty two Clan Double Heats help deal with the massive waste heat generated by weapons fire.
Enhancing the defensive capabilities of the ‘Mech are a quartet of A Pods, making infantry provided leg attacks suicide, and an Anti Missile system to shield the already powerful war machine from further counter fire. Targeting and Tracking systems were upgraded with the TRTTS Mark II from the new Canis BattleMech designed by the Coyotes. The Raldon R1 with ECM Suite makes certain that the Awesome IIC is the only ‘Mech on the field that can use it's advanced targeting systems.

DEPLOYMENT
Spreading throughout the ranks of the Clans quickly this ponderous Assault ‘Mech can still strike fear in the hearts of opposing MechWarriors. Cached Awesomes’ which accompanied General Kerensky on the Exodus were the first to be reactivated. Every Clan fields at least one star of these fearsome Assault ‘Mechs with Coyote, Goliath Scorpion, and Snow Raven deploying even more. While Blood Spirit was the first Clan to manufacture new Awesome IICs others have followed suit. Diamond Shark, Fire Mandrill, and Hell’s Horses all dedicated secondary facilities to manufacture this distant slugger which can take a staggering amount of damage without flinching. The Invading Clans have captured many Awesomes during Operation Revival and have begun to repurpose them as IICs. Emmett Vargas earned the respect of every Clan and was promoted to Star Colonel by a grateful Khan Schmitt. The father of the Awesome was given command of a new cluster in Sigma Galaxy which he commands from his IIC named the Triumphant.
Pleased with the success Coyote and Diamond Shark engineers wanted to push the limits on what the Awesome could do. Using the 320XL Engine found on the Viper and Clan Ferro Fibrous they built an advanced variant. The Awesome IIC 2 strips out the Targeting Computer, the ER Small Laser, the Anti-Missile System, and the A-Pods to make room for another ER PPC and five additional Double Heat Sinks. All this extra heat causes Mechwarriors to do the “Awesome Walk”. After firing all four ER PPCs the pilot has to fire no more than three of these weapons and walk or risk severe overheating. While faster than its low tech forerunner and capable of greater damage at range many still prefer the so-call original Vargas variant.

Since everyone seems to be chipping in... ;)
I decided to forego the ECM and AMS (not sure if they were a pre-requisite) and throw in an ATM launcher. She also has max armour, greater speed and jump capability  and enough heat dissipation to fire all the PPC's...

The IIC 3 drops 1 heat sink and the ATM launcher in favour of a Targeting COmputer, ECM and Active Probe. It also adds the original design Small Laser, though this time it's a Clan ER version.

That would be a negative. What's it's heat handling like? If it's anything like the Warhawk then I really don't see the point in having 4 ER PPC's unless your pilot likes his testicles well done.

Can you link me to your post?

It was the second paragraph in my deployment fluff. Not quite the Hellstar but capable.

While faster than its low tech forerunner and capable of greater damage at range many still prefer the so-call original Vargas variant.

I'd very much love to see my IIC 2 vs your IIC 2 duel it out. It'd be an interesting fight though I would, of course, have to back my version. It can walk and alpha and only build up 4 heat, has the advantage of the ATM and using multiple munitions and, in a pinch, can out maneuver yours with the Jump Jets. Mine also has the extra half ton of armour, not much of a saving grace but every little bit counts.

On the other hand, if you manage to squeeze off a shot with all 4 PPC's I could be in a world of pain...

Now, put my IIC 3 up against your IIC 2 and I believe I'd have a solid chance at the win. She has the same heat curve as yours but the maneuverability and TC would tip the balance, I believe.

You know what Tulip, I think the first "low tech" version that JP design is my fav. 3 ER PPCs tied to a highly accurate Targeting Computer and the thing can take a beating. Hard to beat.
