Master Arminas designed some standard engine mechs and with his permision i bring them too you!
Clan Blood Spirit began building the Obsidian Mantis in 3040 after many months of testing and designs. The designers of the Omni followed Khan Ceana Boques dictate of four points: be as cheap as is reasonable, have a reasonable chance of surviving an engagement, sustain a steady barrage, and be as efficient as possible. Using the Parts of various Omni's as a starting point, and was increased in tonnage to 45 tons. using only Endo Steel structure as the only advanced building material kept cost down.

in 2854, Khan Ceana Boques initiated four points for future Mech designs: be as cheap as is reasonable, have a reasonable chance of surviving an engagement, sustain a steady barrage, and be as efficient as possible. In the nearl 170 yrs since these guidlines were issued, they have not always been adhered too. When Fara Church saw how poor in Omnimechs his clan was in 3005 he directed the 'Mech designers to bring forth Omni Mechs worthy of Clan Blood Spirit and to reduce dependency upon other Clans for their War Machines. In 3040 the Obsidian Mantis was presented to the Aging Khan and he approved its conception. Taking a torso from a destroyed Battle Cobra and the lower portion of a destroyed Hellbringer, arm designs from the Timber Wolf, using a arm pod of a Star League Marauder the designers were able to cut down R&D time by several months.
Prime – A ER Large Laser with LRM-10 w/artemis is the Primes long range weapons suite, for up close work 3 ER Medium Lasers with SSRM-4 will ruin an unwary mechwarrior.
A – 2 ER Large Lasers are A's long range weapons, its more geared for up close fighting with 4 ER Mediums and SRM-6 with Artemis, A single ER small laser provides a last ditch weapon.
B – Designed to deal with Elementals, Beta can still hurt other mechs.
C – Designed to hunt down scout mechs and to escape traps with its jump jets makes it a fearsome combination for any MechWarrior to face.
D – Another Hunter Mech, designed to jump behind enemy formations and strike command units.
