Clan Fennec Light Battlemechs

Hello Here is one of three mechs I will be putting up. Two are regular mechs the third is an omnimech. So sit back and enjoy. P.S. Will be putting up overview's later.

      The Fox Class Battlemech was developed in 2840 with the help of captured Clan Mongoose scientists. This battlemech was first of a new breed of machine that utilized some of the new technologies that was being created at this time. This battlemech was first used in blitzkrieg warfare against Clan Mongoose for their arrogance and raids on Clan Fennec worlds. Clan Mongoose disregarded the Clan rules of engagement when they fought Clan Fennec so they were punished for their actions. They suffered greatly in men and materials and the semi-annual loss of a dropship or two caused Clan Mongoose to greatly scale back their operations against Clan Fennec. This battlemech was built for speed and it's unexpected firepower in so small a package proved the strength of Clan Fennec. This battlemech was and still is used in frontline and second line clusters. The Fox is used for quick strikes and long term patrols were its energy based armament is used to it's fullest. This battlemech was the progenitor of two battlemech and one omnimech classes.

Yes It was under house rules. It has the range of a light ppc. It was a wicked weapon to use when the other guy did not know you had it. Hit and Run and massive paper cuts work well.

   Clan Fennec had a need for a new scout mech for it's near
constant skirmishes with Clan Hells Horses. This mech was designed
to handle open plains and light desert area's. It was thought that it's
quick speed and unusual weapon loadout would allow it to make a first
strike against the scout's of other clans. Like all Clan Fennec Mechs
Battle or Omni this mech has an ECM Suite. This was the first of a new
line of Battlemech that uses the Watchdog Suite. This battlemech was
used along with the Vixen 4 battlemech, Phantom Omnimech and Bloodstalker
Omnimech in a Trial of Possession with the Crusader Clan Wolf for the 11th Battle Cluster
and it's support vessels. Who Clan Fennec will only refer to as The Clan Jade Wolf
which anger's Khan Vlad Ward. Who Khan Ajax Renaldi calls Khan Vlad Jade in
total open disrespect for him and his Crusader Clan. During the Trial of Possession
with the 1st Wolf Assault Cluster this Battlemech surprised the scouts sent to locate
the 1st Fennec Calvary Cluster. It quickly made short work of those scouts enabling
the 1st Fennec Calvary Cluster to ambush and destroy two trinaries before help could
come. No Crusader Wolves were taken as bondsmen because of the contempt Clan Fennec
has for Khan Vlad Jade's Clan.The Jade Wolves were stripped of their weapons and sent on
their way. Their Omnimechs were salvaged and used to form the core of the 3rd Fennec Calvary Cluster.
The 11th Battle Cluster and their support vessel's were redesignated the 1st Fennec Battle Cluster.

Thanks I have caught my cousin unaware. The moment he realized my scout was there was when when a volley of miisiles was coming at him followed by a hit from a laser strike.

Hi All here is going to be the next trio of Mechs ,a Light Battlemech ,an Omnimech and another Light Battlemech. Then I will show you the Mediums plus one or two heavy's. The First is the Striker Light Mech. The Second is the Gorgon Omnimech the Third is the Hunter Light Mech. They will be fully detailed within the next few weeks. Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
