Another piece of Military hardware built to specificallyu counter Kurita Samurai mechs, the Enforcer "Kunai" has also found utility against the Vulture Mk IVs and (presuming the range gap is closed) Mad Cat Mk IVs deployed by House Kurita.  to save time and resources the first Kunais were built off of the three remaining MUSECOMPACT chassis that survived the Jihad, and with the cost savings of replicating clan technology decades after the original MUSE project, mass producing the mech can be made a lot easier.  Achernar is working overtime, even converting thier Dervish, Phoenix Hawk and Argus lines to increase Kunai output.

It doesn't really feel like an Enforcer, more like a Warhammer of a sort.

Strait up it is exactly the ENF-7X MUSE COMPACT Enforcer III, but with the Binary lasers swapped for Re Engineered Lasers.

well you can't cure Grognard.

The MUSECOMPACT project was basically a clan Spec built Enforcer III, and for added pizzaz they used Binary laser Cannons....

would that make it an enforcer IIIC?

at the same time it was the perfect moment to.  massive military attrition, and you had to maximize the war fighting capability you had, which meant crash programs to replicate clan technology, if for no other reason then to be able to maintain your clan purchased and salvaged equipment on your own.

then the only thing that makes clan manufacturing spec expensive is economies of scale.

the Clan ER Large laser being as expensive as a lance of light mechs in 3058 is no longer valid, a Clan Spec 250XL engine built by Corean Enterprises could probably be done for the cost of an entire Centurion Omnimech.
