I just updated Megamek and took a stab at creating an assault quadvee. The tonnage limitations of the conversion gear etc are prohibitive but you can make something that's workable, but the firepowers a bit light for an assault.

How about one that is a mix of ER LL and LRMs? QuadVees have an interesting advantage over mechs, so they have an interesting advantage over standard mechs in regards to indirect missile attacks. ER LL on the other hand has an attractive weight/Crit ratio for quadvees.

Got an idea for a Harpagos replacement as I don't see the dual gauss and cockpit layout as being ideal (see my thread here - http://bg.battletech.com/forums/index.php?topic=58512.0 and the most recent post by me)

This one's still a bit slow at 64kph but its got a more varied weapon mix and isn't reliant on a pair of gauss for its armament and thus is a bit more interesting as a Mech/vehicle. Called Phobos after one of Ares's steeds its more survivable, better armed and more flexible, and its an Omni

I see the B as a kind of BA/Tank hunter, the HAG can sandblast a tank and disable it whilst the SRMs can be loaded with different ammo types. A trio of ER mediums also make a mess of most things with repeated strikes.
