As to the no hatchet thing, there was a canon variant without one, the HCT-3NH. Should not e a reason for basically DQ'ing four entries.

Like I said during the review it is an intriguing idea but your not gonna finish high up in a contest looking for a HATCHET, man! Or mech in this case.

Glad you liked the HCT-4T.

I agree with your comments on the HCT-4S about the XL engine but I could not get the design to work without.  If you keep the standard engine and use Endo Steel you still need to come up with 1.5 tons- either dropping a medium laser and half a ton of armor or dropping 1.5 tons of armor.  Unfortunately there is not enough space for FF armor and you have to switch back to standard heatsinks so the design will run hot.

Congratulations Irose.

1. HCT-4T (Irose) I ultimately judged this model which compares well to the Grasshopper more realistic than Ice’s as it only uses Double Heat Sinks for lostech innovations.

Ferro-Fibrous and Pulse Lasers are not too much for the Taurian Concordat  :P
