Nice stuff bud, a few nitpicks as the Crimson Langur is a canon Mech.

Perhaps it would be better to split everything into existing design and quicksilver design.

Could also make another column for discontinued designs.

And one to indicate who got the main production rights?

Four OmniMechs designs which were in development (Crimson Langur, Nova Cat, Savage Coyote, Blood Asp) and had no existing competitors were accelerated in order to fill a spot early on in Quicksilver to avoid any unnecessary waste. Yes the Langur is the biggest stretch by far but where I could possibly eliminate a need I did. Existing imagery was also a plus for art and minis too. ;)

And one to indicate who got the main production rights?

That could be another useful piece of information along with movement rates, pod space, and armor factor for each too. Don't want to make things too crowded though.

95% done just a few questions

Most descriptions give clear cut designers even though some had partners or contributors those that don't

Golden Lion
Stone Lion
Kinslayer

Canon
Dire Wolf

Also only thanks to your write up at the end was I able to get details on the Kinslayer as Lordgrayson linked to Solaris 7 which is no longer around I take it? So new configs may need to be created.

Pretty good spread sheet of everything Bradshaw.

Some corrections on your Primary Manufacturers;

Bloodwing - Primary Manufacturer is Blood Spirit not Snow Raven. While the Ravens created it they wanted no part of it.
Crimson Langur - Primary Manufacturer is Fire Mandrill not Blood Spirit. While they helped the Spirits had too many others.

Now to your questions;

Golden Lion - Primary Manufacturer is Steel Viper while the Scorpions helped receiving production share and secondary build rights
Stone Lion - Primary Manufacturer is Goliath Scorpion even though the base design was a Blood Spirit one (Blood Kite). The Spirits are busy Omnifying their Blood Kite fleet and receive production share of the Stone Lion.
Kinslayer - Primary Manufacturer is Blood Spirit while the Mandrills receive production share
Dire Wolf - A fierce battle ensued for primary rights to this OmniMech which ended with the Wolves triumphant although the Jaguars retain secondary production rights which they continue to exercise.

I have the Kinslayer on file here bud, maybe I will post it up later. Just gotta clean it up.

Once I get access to a computer with excel again I'll fix my list

So now I remember you gave or shown me a listing of Clan production ability you came up with. Do we know who is secondary producers of which mechs and what about a complete listing of all the IIC designs they produce. We might as well get it all done while working on this. Should do Aerospace/vehicles and dropship/jumpship/warship as well.

Was kind of surprised in the end how this all laid out in terms of who won the challenges and final primary producers

No problem bud, we can certainly do Fighters and Vehicles as I have info on both. Yes also have secondary producers as well. Jumpships and Dropships can follow but they are not part of Quicksilver yet.

It is interesting certainly how everything is shaking out.

With regards to vehicle they are okay as is although they all suffer from being real glass hammers.  Some of their weapon choices are a bit squiffy and the art work for them wasn't great for the most part.

The fighter configs again are a mixbag, some work, some are dumb as all hell and need fixes.  Everything about Clan fighters is about ending the fight as quickly as possible and they tend to be hugely overgunned for that with most having firepower to threshold anything else out there in Clan or Inner Sphere space that isn't a Hydaspes.  But they do this at a cost in battlefield longevity and being real heathogs for the most part as well as having less armour than Spheroid equivalents.

Working on Dropships might be a bit more tricky, the excel page folks have made isn't quite as good as the one done for WarShips  and the few DropShip types in service at the time mean we'll not have much interesting stuff there.

Hell, the lack of assault droppers was why I made this thing

I have been following your exceptional work with Plog and other designers who have made some pretty awesome space stuff. Rest assured we will get there eventually with Quicksilver!

Re the vehicles of the Clans in Quicksilver. Of all the Clans only the Horses really ever showed any interest in vehicles, and I think for the Quicksilver retrofits, I think the other Clans might well defer to their experience with them.

One thing I would press for though, anything with an ICE should have the option of having it replaced with a fuel cell engine.  In theory its not a massive change, you're not changing the drive train or running gear, just the powerplant with the batteries going where the fuel tanks were.  And considering that the Clans seemingly produce vehicles as and when needed, they could be altered in construction and most of the work could probably be done in local facilities.

Also this would only apply to a small number of vehicles and would have a minimal impact on any supply chain.

Glad you commented on this marauder648. Let me get the relevant links for the Quicksilver Vehicles and make it easier for you to see what I or we did.

While Hell's Horses was the major pusher for the iniatitive other Clans got involved and i think the story will muster that out. Some saw the benefits of an OmniVehicle Program like Blood Spirit (use vehicles in front line service) and Ice Hellion (see their successful Flurry units) while others had alternatives. Eventually three others joined them Wolf, Diamond Shark and Star Adder to push through a limited number of Fusion (XL too expensive) powered OmniVehicles.

Ghost Bear and Steel Viper pushed for a compromise plan labelled the IIC Program which took some InnerSphere designs and Clanified them. OmniVehicles were to extravagant to them but everything featured a Fusion Engine (not Fuel Cell).

Jade Falcon and Fire Mandrill who were far more traditional did agree on the ridding of ICE engines as anything less was not fit for the Clans. They spearheaded refits of Zorya and Huitzcopi.

Burrock, Smoke Jaguar, and some Fire Mandrill Kindraa had an opposite effect on them. Their reactionary stance known as the Foresaken philosophy says Vehicles are not the tools of true warriors and as such are beneath the Clans.

Working on those links.
