The hardest decision was Configuration F which had numerous outstanding concepts square off for the tenth and final spot.
I think you mean Configuration I here.

Well done to all participants.

Thanks for the honest reassessment masterarminas. I sometimes wonder what I was thinking and clearly your math is right. I took the unusual step of putting each configuration into Heavy Metal this time as I am still working on the Ravage for Loremaster Koga and even that elderly program shows you are correct.

The competition between Ice Hellion C and masterarminas C was one of the best but even after another re-review firepower and heat management is still superior for masterarminas C. Ice is certainly more accurate and mobile with his fine entry but I like bracket fire schemes which rely on weapons that generate the same amount of heat. LRM-10s and SRM-6s (4 heat each) as well as ER Larges and 3 Medium Pulses (12 heat each) can both be alternated quite easily. So point to masterarminas!

Sorry about the mistake there gang but same outcome.

I thought it made sense and was the most logical move, trying to get the different factions of the Clan all together as Clan Coyote is strong when united.

It is not outrageous by any means and going into this contest I similarly thought that Loremaster Sullivan Koga would retain her Dire Wolf which she piloted going in. However, several folks (marauder648 most notably) suggested that she receive a new Savage Coyote and that move made a lot of sense. Wardmaster Mason Jerricho would also make sense but given his traditional ways and the fact that the Guillotine IIC received a modular upgrade during the Quicksilver Trials (now the Crazy Horse) it just makes more sense to keep him with that ride. Koga does have a special connection to this OmniMech and I am still working on the Ravage. Hopefully I will have a post later for that one.

Right you are, corrections are going up now!  ;)

Thanks again everyone, great job!

Thanks Ice, if I can address the Ravage (Loremaster Koga's upgraded Savage Coyote) for a moment only one of the ten configurations fits outright. That is D by drakensis (his configuration A entry and Bradshaw's G with twin Gauss and twin ER PPCs) which left 1.5 tons for additional equipment (thanks to the swap out of 15 standard tons of armor for 13.5 ferro-fibrous). What I've done there is to remove a ton of Gauss ammo (don't worry she still has 40 shots total) for an Active Probe and ECM Suite. This adds to her command abilities and the final half ton went to a ER Small mounted in the head.

Been a crazy couple of weeks so haven't been on much in last couple of weeks.

Congrats everyone.

Look at the arms and feet of Mauler and Savage Coyote they remind me of each other hence the allusion.
