I threw it in as an extra, but overheating isn't an issue. Maintaining heat is another matter.

Null Sig by itself generates 10 heat, plus 6 more for the Chameleon Light Polarization System.  So you're already at 16 heat before movement when both are running.

Walking and firing an alpha strike would put you 9 points over, and start TSM running.  From there, it's maintaining heat that's the issue.

I forgot about the heat from Chameleon Light Polarization System  😜

I was trying to get the heat up high without that

Interesting advanced tech version Gio. But how about a early 3050s version with Star League era lostech making it all it could be to combat the Clans. I just scanned TRO Project Phoenix and I guess I could use a variation of the design there. I'd love to include a MASC as it is perfect for a 20 tonner at 1 ton. Any thoughts?

I have tried so hard this week to make a jumping Locust work.  I ended up here instead.

Yeah u XL the original engine, endosteel chassis, and ferro fibrous armor then add 4 tons for jump jets that is it. Not all that impressive. Geuss that is why medium medium mechs are the most advantageous jumpers.

Interesting idea, the ninja model of the venerable Locust. One question: Why use the small cockpit rather than an XL gyro? Both give equal weight savings, and the XLgyro doesn't hurt your chances of staying on your feet.

Still, Cool mix of stealh, speed, and sniping  8)

Couldn't. Null Sig takes up a critical in the center torso.
