==Overview:==
Impressed with the Kuritan -2K variant of the Shadow Hawk, the Magestrix
requested that Majesty Metals make a similar alteration to the Mechs being
built at their Dunianshire plant.

==Capabilities:==
Exchanging the autocannon for a PPC significantly increases the Shadow Hawks'
long range punch while removing one of the vulnerable ammunition bins.

Trading the SRMs for a second LRM launcher not only removes another potentially
explosive ammuniton store, it also substantially increases the rate of fire
from the one remaining ammo bin and finishes optimising the Mech for long range
combat: the MAF cannot afford to lose expensive battlemechs by throwing them
into short-range brawls and prefers open field engagements where they can use
mobility against attackers.

Adding two heatsinks leaves the Shadow Hawk able to fire the PPC and LRMs while
at rest or the PPC and laser at a walk, without building up unmanageable heat.
With practise, Mechwarriors can manage the heat from the weapons fairly
precisely.

Not a bad little modification.  As it's not intended to be used at close ranges, I'd almost suggest ditching the medium laser for an LRM-10, but then it's essentially a Griffin.  For my money, I tend to ditch a HS and the SRMs to change the LRM-5 into an LRM-10, or else I ditch the autocannon & SRMs to add a large laser and upgrade the LRMs to a 10-rack while adding three HS.  The former retains the standard S-Hawk's difficulty in gaining heat, while the latter has a better all-range damage curve.

Much as I love PPCs, I find LRM-5s to be less than useless.  Clearly, your mileage varies, and I might have to test this out against my S-Hawk variants to see which ends up on top.

2 LRM 5 generates more heat than a LRM 10 but it's scaleable: you can chose to fire only 1 or fire 2, giving more precise control of the heat build up. It also leaves a ton spare for the laser, which is quite useful in short range fights.
