3rd most common.  It is fast, well-armored, and can carry a punch.  My Scorpions for this AU field almost 1,200 OmniMechs in total (1,197 to be exact), with an average weight of 58.19 tons . . . on the heavy side, but still (barely) in the medium range.  Average walking speed is 5.93; the Dune Stalkers with their 4/6 movement brings the average down.

Total fielded are (in decreasing order of most common), 401 Desert Tigers (55-tons), 332 Goliath Scorpions (70-tons), 284 Sand Devils (45-tons), 96 Dune Stalkers (90-tons), and 84 Hooded Eagles (35-tons).
